Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! To participate this week, I wanted to go for something more nominalistic and simple, since this week I will be busy with some things, but I don't want to stop participating as every week in the art contest. That's why I took Mycelic Morphoid's letter as a reference and I did it in line art style, since I have been retaking that style of drawing that I used to draw and work so hard and also, I can draw in traditional that I had left it completely.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Para participar esta semana, quise irme por algo mas nominalista y sencillo, ya que esta semana estaré ocupado con algunas cosas, pero no quiero dejar de participar como cada semana en el concurso de arte. Es por ello que tome como referencia a la carta de Mycelic Morphoid y la hice al estilo arte lineal, ya que he venido retomando ese estilo de dibujo que antes dibuja y trabaja tanto y así también, puedo dibujar en tradicional que lo había dejado por completo.
I started making the sketch in my sketchbook, it is of the brand Foska with a grammage of 150, ideal to work with graphite pencils and mechanical pencils and why not, watercolors too. If I used to draw with weights below 100, this one is excellent. I only structure a little what would be the character or well, the characters because there are two, on the page, so then I can define it a little bit.
Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi sketchbook, es de la marca Foska con un gramaje de 150, ideal para trabajar con lapices grafitos y portaminas y porque no, acuarelas también. Si yo dibujaba antes con gramajes por debajo de los 100, este es excelente. Solo estructuro un poco lo que vendría siendo el personaje o bueno, los personaje porque son dos, en la pagina, para así luego irme a definir un poco el mismo.

Whenever I finish structuring the drawing, I like to detail or define the sketch in order to know the elements that it has and not get lost so much when it comes to detailing the whole drawing finally. I always use a graphite pencil in HB number 2, because it does not stain the page with too much graphite, but even so, after finishing the sketch, I pass over it with a moldable eraser to remove the excess of graphite and thus not have problems with the page getting stained when working the line art. The truth is that I always do this last step and I leave the sketch clean to go to detail it completely in a cleaner way.
Siempre que termine de estructurar el dibujo, me gusta detallar o definir el boceto para así saber los elementos que este tenga y no perderme tanto a la hora de detallar todo el dibujo finalmente. Uso siempre un lápiz de grafito en HB numero 2, ya que este no mancha la pagina con mucho grafito, pero aun así, luego de terminar el boceto, paso por encima de este un borrador moldeable para quitar el exceso de grafito y así no tener problemas con que se me vaya a manchar la pagina a la hora de trabajar el line art. La verdad que este ultimo paso siempre lo hago y dejo limpio el boceto para irme a detallarlo por completo de una forma mas limpia.

To make the first line art, I use a mechanical pencil of 0.5 millimeters, since it allows me to make a thin and more precise line. After that first line art, I continue to work with a 0.7 millimeters mechanical pencil to make and integrate a thicker line in some areas of the face and other sides of the drawing.
Para hacer el primer line art, uso un portaminas de 0.5 milímetros, ya que este me permite hacer una linea delgada y mas precisa. Luego de ese primer line art, prosigo a trabajar con un portaminas de 0.7 milímetros y así poder hacer e integrar un linear un poco más grueso en algunas zonas del rostro y otros lados del dibujo.

I finish the drawing working with a last mechanical pencil, I use it to add the thicker lines to give more contrast to the drawing. I use a 2 mm pencil and it is the one that really gives body to the drawing in my opinion, it makes it look more contrasted and not so simple if I just leave it with a thin line. I add some final details, like some glitter and detail some areas of the drawing and that's it folks, that would be all.
Termino el dibujo trabajando con un ultimo portaminas, este lo uso para agregar las lineas mas gruesas y así darle mas contraste al dibujo. Uso un portaminas de 2 milímetros y es el que realmente le da cuerpo al dibujo a mi parecer, lo hace ver más contrastado y no tan simple si solo lo dejo con una linea delgada. Agrego algunos detalles finales, como algunos brillos y detallo algunas zonas del dibujo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
