When I saw this card, the character caught my attention and I wanted to draw and make my version. I really liked the colors and the simplicity of the illustration, so I decided to participate this week with this character.

Cuándo vi está carta, me llamo la atención el personaje y quise dibujar y hacer mi versión. Los colores y la simplicidad de la ilustración me gustaron mucho, así que decidí participar está semana con este personaje.

For my version, I wanted to make the character with an expression of anguish, surprise or despair, since in the original story, it talks and tells about an attack on the castle and losses and destruction of some gargoyles, so I went in that direction.

Para mí versión, quise hacer el personaje con una expresión de angustia, sorpresa o desesperó, ya que en la historia original, se habla y cuenta sobre un ataque al castillo y pérdidas y destrucción de algunas gárgolas, así que fui en esa dirección.

I made the sketch little by little, taking the original illustration as a reference. For my version, I focused on the face, adding that expression of anguish on his face and the hands, to emphasize a little more that emotion on his face.

Fui haciendo el boceto poco a poco, tomando como referencia la ilustración original. Para mí versión, me enfoqué en lo que era el rostro, agregándole esa expresión de angustia en su cara y a su vez las manos, para enfatizar un poco más esa emoción en su rostro.

After I had the sketch, I went straight to work on the color in the drawing. Focusing on the original colors of the illustration. Purple, yellow and blue were the most predominant colors, so those were the ones I worked with in my drawing.

Luego de tener el boceto, me fui directo a trabajar el color en el dibujo. Enfocándome en los colores originales de la ilustración. Morado, amarillo y azul, eran los colores que más predominaban, asi que con esos fueron los que trabaje mi dibujo.

To finish with the drawing, I only had to make a couple of details, like some lights and shadows and add the linear in some areas and that was it, that would be all.

Ya para culminar con el dibujo, solo tuve que hacer un par de detalles, como algunas luces y sombras y agregar el linear en algunas zonas y listo, el sería todo.
