With this character I wanted to work again my fanaticism for nature. Everyone, or the vast majority, knows that I am a fan of everything related to nature, but lately I have left aside all that theme in my drawings, I don't know why. With this card, which is entirely a character inspired by nature, was the one I wanted to personify in my style this week.

Con este personaje quise trabajar de nuevo mi fanatismo por la naturaleza. Todos o la gran mayoría, sabe que soy fanático de todo lo referente a la naturaleza, pero últimamente he dejado de lado todo ese tema en mis dibujos, no se por qué. Con esta carta, la cual es en su totalidad un personaje inspirado en la naturaleza, fue la que quise personificar a mi estilo esta semana.

I started sketching in my sketchbook in a patient way, since I didn't want to do or work only the face, as usual in my drawings, but I wanted to do at least half a body in this character and see how it would look like. Little by little I integrated things from the original illustration to my version, but I also added original things, like the carnivorous plant.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujos de forma paciente, ya que no quería hacer o trabajar solamente el rostro, como es de costumbre en mis dibujos, sino que quería hacer aunque sea medio cuerpo en este personaje y ver que tal quedaba. Poco a poco fui integrando cosas de la ilustración original a mi versión, pero también agregue cosas originales, como la planta carnívora.

When I had the sketch finished, the next thing I started to do was the color work. If we look at the color palette in the original illustration, it is basically composed of green and shades of yellow and brown. With these colors I worked on my drawing, integrating them as I would normally work with them, that is to say; not too saturated.

Cuando tuve el boceto terminado, lo siguiente que me puse a hacer fue el trabajo de color. Si vemos la paleta de color en la ilustración original, básicamente esta compuesta por color verde y tonos en amarillo y marrón. Con estos colores fue que trabajo mi dibujo, integrando los mismo como normalmente los trabajaría yo, es decir; no muy saturados.

And for the last part, I leave to work on the details, like some lights and shadows in the drawing and to finish with all the work, I leave to make the linear, giving a little more proportion to the drawing and that would be all, that would be all.

Ya para lo ultimo, dejo para trabajar lo que son los detalles, como algunas luces y sombras en el dibujo y para finalizar con todo el trabajo, dejo para hacer el linear, dándole un poco más de proporción al dibujo y listo, eso seria todo.
