For a long time I wanted to draw this @Splinterlands character, but I never found the way to do it in my style, I don't know, it was as if I didn't have a clear idea of it when I gave myself the task of making my version. But that day came, to finally draw this character in my style. I took him more to the human side and drew him, nothing like the original character, since I wanted to give him a 180° turn and make him totally different. I'm not going to lie, since I finished the drawing, I was totally in love with it, without a doubt, one of my favorite drawings of this year.

Desde hace ya bastante tiempo tenia las ganas de dibujar este personaje de @Splinterlands, pero nunca hallaba la manera o forma de hacerlo a mi estilo, no se, era como si no tuviera una idea clara del mismo cuando me daba la tarea de hacer mi versión. Pero ese día llego, dibujar por fin este personaje a mi estilo. Lo lleve más al lado humano y lo dibuje, nada parecido al personaje original, ya que quise darle un giro de 180° y hacerlo totalmente diferente. No les voy a mentir, desde que termine el dibujo, quede totalmente enamorado del mismo, sin duda alguna, uno de mis dibujos favoritos de este año.

I started making the sketch in my sketchbook and as I had told you before, I wanted to give a big change to the character, using a different color palette and making him or her a human character/bloody monster.

Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujos y como les había contado anteriormente, quise darle un cambio grande al personaje, usando una paleta de color diferente y haciéndolo o convirtiéndolo en un personaje humano/monstruo sangriento.

I looked at the original character to take some elements from it and integrate them into my drawing. Most of all I took as a reference the super mega pronounced mouth of the original illustration and from it I was inspired to make the mouth of my version. I also used as reference those green thorns that you can see in the original body of Stitch Leech, but instead of making thorns, I turned them into horns to make them in the body of my character.

Me fije en el personaje original para tomar algunos elementos del mismo e integrarlos a mi dibujo. Mas que todo tome como referencia la boca super mega pronunciada de la ilustración original y de ella me inspire para hacer la boca de mi versión. Ademas use como referencia también como esas espinas verdes que se ven en el cuerpo original de Stitch Leech, pero en vez de hacer espinas, las convertí en cuernos para hacerlos en el cuerpo de mi personaje.

The color palette was a total game changer. First because I didn't like the color palette of the original character at all and second, because I wanted to paint it as I would paint a drawing, basically my favorite color palette in life and the one I always use for my drawings is blue and red. To finish, I did the final details, some shadows, shines and a little bit of linear and that's it, I would have finished with the drawing.

La paleta de color fue algo que cambia totalmente. Primero porque la paleta de color del personaje original no me gustaba para nada y segundo, porque quería pintarlo como yo pintaría un dibujo, que básicamente mi paleta de color favorita en la vida y es la que siempre uso para mis dibujos es azul y rojo. Ya para terminar, hice los detalles finales, algunas sombras, brillos y un poco de linear y listo, ya habría culminado con el dibujo.
