Mi experiencia en torneos/ My tournament experience (SPA/ENG)
Hola a todos. Hoy en el Social Media Challenge voy a hablaros de mi experiencia en los torneos de Splinterlands. Para ello llevo un tiempo participando en un montón de torneos, principalmente en los de la liga plata ya que mis cartas son de niveles adecuados para esa liga pero tambien participo en los de la liga oro o diamante para probar suerte, pero en esos ni con suerte se gana xD.
Hello everyone. Today in the Social Media Challenge I am going to tell you about my experience in the Splinterlands tournaments. For this I have been participating in a lot of tournaments for a while, mainly in the silver league since my cards are of adequate levels for that league but I also participate in the gold or diamond league to try my luck, but in those not even with luck wins xD.
Suelo participar en torneos organizados por Splinterlands directamente ya que en ellos no es difícil recuperar al menos lo invertido ya que como veis hasta el puesto 256 se recupera lo invertido y fueron 205 participantes. En este caso el torneo se vende como para NOOBS de nivel plata del formato moderno y tiene unos requisitos de acceso bajos. Tras mucho participar en estos torneos me he dado cuenta de una cosa que afecta mucho a la experiencia y es que lo venden como para novatos pero no hay limite superior de poder por encima y claro una persona con 25K de poder poco puede hacer contra otra que tenga 1300K de poder como es el caso del ganador del torneo. Por eso pienso que un buen sistema seria hacer varias categorías y limitar el acceso también por poder máximo ya que sino la cosa está muy desequilibrada y no incentiva nada a jugar y participar. Incluso se me ocurre la idea de que si tienes más poder de la cuenta te dieran la opción de elegir cartas con las que participar hasta completar el máximo de poder permitido, esto añadiría mucha estrategia a los torneos.
I usually participate in tournaments organized by Splinterlands directly since in them it is not difficult to recover at least what was invested since, as you can see, up to position 256 the investment is recovered and there were 205 participants. In this case the tournament is sold as for modern format silver level NOOBS and has low entry requirements. After much participation in these tournaments I have realized one thing that greatly affects the experience and that is that they sell it as for beginners but there is no upper limit of power above and of course a person with 25K of power can do little against another who have 1300K of power as is the case of the winner of the tournament. That is why I think that a good system would be to make several categories and limit access also by maximum power, since otherwise the thing is very unbalanced and does not encourage anything to play and participate. I even get the idea that if you have more power than you should, they would give you the option to choose cards with which to participate until reaching the maximum power allowed, this would add a lot of strategy to tournaments.
Este es otro torneo en el que participé en el que quedé 125 de 280 y gane 3 SPS y teniendo en cuenta que me costó 2 SPS la entrada al torneo pues fué bien la cosa por lo que os animo a participar.
This is another tournament in which I participated in which I was 125 out of 280 and won 3 SPS and taking into account that it cost me 2 SPS to enter the tournament, it went well so I encourage you to participate.
Al hilo de lo anterior me surge otra cosa que desde mi punto de vista deben mejorar para que la experiencia de los torneos sea más agradable y es que las batallas tienes 24 horas para mandarlas pero luego pasadas esas 24 horas no puedes ver en el historial del torneo las batallas por lo que hay muchas que no las puedes ver a no ser que sepas manejar la API del juego lo cual no está al alcance de todos. Digo esto porque entiendo que la mejor manera de aprender es ver donde falla uno y para eso lo mejor es visualizar las batallas pero si el juego no lo facilita se hace más dificil.
In line with the above, another thing arises that from my point of view should be improved so that the tournament experience is more pleasant and that is that you have 24 hours to send the battles but then after those 24 hours you cannot see in the history of the tournament the battles so there are many that you cannot see unless you know how to handle the game's API, which is not available to everyone. I say this because I understand that the best way to learn is to see where one fails and for that it is best to visualize the battles, but if the game does not facilitate it, it becomes more difficult.
Otra cosa que me gustaría comentar es el requisito de tener en stake SPS para poder participar en los torneos. Entiendo que quieran darle utilidad al token pero me parecen excesivas las cantidades que piden. En el torneo de la foto piden casi 5K de SPS lo que al precio de hoy son unos 500$, teniendo en cuenta que el premio por quedar primero son 6 $ me parece excesivo ese requisito mas que nada porque si fuera más bajo fomentaría que la gente alquilara o incluso adquiriera cartas para participar pero son esa barrera de entrada ni se lo plantearían.
Another thing I would like to comment on is the SPS stake requirement in order to participate in tournaments. I understand that they want to make the token useful, but the amounts they ask for seem excessive. In the tournament in the photo they ask for almost 5K of SPS, which at today's price is about $500, taking into account that the prize for being first is $6, that requirement seems excessive to me more than anything because if it were lower it would encourage the people would rent or even buy cards to participate but they are that barrier to entry and they wouldn't even consider it.
Tras comentaros mis opiniones sobre los torneos os voy a enseñar mi experiencia en el ultimo que he participado. Es uno organizado por Peakmonsters en el que pedían PKM para participar y en los premios había cartas por lo que era bastante interesante.
Peakmonsters, para el que no lo conozca, es una pagina de herramientas para Splinterlands en la que se pueden alquilar y comprar cartas entre otras muchas cosas, si os gusta Splinterlands y no la conocéis os recomiendo visitarla.
El torneo sigue activo pero yo no pasé de fase gané solo 6 batallas de las 14 que habia en la ronda por lo que me quedé fuera. A continuacion os enseño las batallas que pudo extraer de la API un compañero de clan @javivisan. Intentad adivinar cual es el resultado de las batallas.
After commenting on my opinions about the tournaments, I am going to show you my experience in the last one I participated in. It is one organized by Peakmonsters in which they asked for PKM to participate and in the prizes there were letters so it was quite interesting.
Peakmonsters, for those who don't know it, is a tool page for Splinterlands where you can rent and buy cards among many other things, if you like Splinterlands and you don't know it I recommend visiting it.
The tournament is still active but I did not pass the phase, I only won 6 battles of the 14 that were in the round, so I was left out. Below I show you the battles that a clan mate @javivisan was able to extract from the API. Try to guess what the outcome of the battles is.
Obviamente gano mi oponente, maldito gato, si no los conocéis mejor porque es uno de los mejores invocadores del juego pero cuando lo ves enfrente solo queda rezar.
Obviously my opponent wins, damn cat, if you don't know them better because he is one of the best summoners in the game but when you see him in front of you, all you have to do is pray.
En este caso gané yo ya que gracias a la condición de batalla mis tiradores atacan desde primera línea y eso hizo que esquivara las espinas de su Windeku.
In this case I won because thanks to the battle condition my shooters attack from the front line and that made me dodge the thorns of his Windeku.
Esta estuvo igualada y hasta el final no estaba seguro pero finalmente gané, y eso fue porque mis criaturas eran más rápidas y tenían más vida.
This one was even and until the end I wasn't sure but I finally won, and that was because my creatures were faster and had more life.
Otro lindo gatito, estuve cerca pero al final el gato se llevo el premio.
Another cute kitten, I was close but in the end the cat took the prize.
No puede ser, otro más y otra vez que estuve cerca, si no hubiera usado tanta magia quizá el resultado hubiera sido otro.
It can't be, another one and another time I was close, if I hadn't used so much magic maybe the result would have been different.
Esta estuvo reñida pero la habilidad de mi splinter le hizo mucho daño al rival y me llevé la victoria. El resto de batallas son parecidas y no os voy a aburrir más con ellas. Espero que os hayáis hecho una idea de como son los torneos y que si os gustan participéis.
This one was close but the ability of my splinter did a lot of damage to the rival and I took the victory. The rest of the battles are similar and I'm not going to bore you any more with them. I hope you have gotten an idea of what the tournaments are like and that if you like them, you can participate.

Me alegro que hayas podido rescatar las batallas del torneo. Yodin Zaku te lo ha puesto difícil en el torneo, cuesta derrotar a un oponente con ese invocador.

Yo apenas he jugado un torneo. Es algo a lo que no he prestado atención y creo que voy a empezar a apuntarme a alguno e ir probando.

Yo empecé así y como vi que al menos recupero lo invertido voy probando. Sé que ganar está difícil pero quedar de la mitad hacía arriba es posible y con eso ya te llevas algo.
Sisi, estoy viendo que hay torneos asequibles donde conseguir rentabilizar la inversión. Probaré y contaré la experiencia, jajaja.
totalmente de acuerdo los requisitos de sps son desproporcionados en algunos piden 20ks de sps o mas unos 2000$ en stake una locura, y a precios de ahora ,no te digo ya si compraste a 0,80 o mas arriba...
realmente es una barrera de entrada muy alta,para la gente en general,no te digo ya en sudamerica o filipinas por pone un caso...en fin suerte en los torneos menuda chapa te di jajajajaj😀 !PIZZA
Jajajajaja todo comentario es bienvenido y más si se trata de algo que es totalmente cierto. A ver si le dan una vuelta a eso y ponen más categorías y ajustan la barrera de entrada en función de eso.

We'll be hosting these monthly tournaments, and would always love to see you in there. Do you have any requests for tournament prizes? We'd love to hear feedback from our tournament participants!
The prizes are good for the entry requirements that the tournament has. What I would do is a giveaway among the participants based on their number, for example raffle a pack for every X participants or something like that.
