for the top silver: my sad story (ENG-ESP)

I come to tell you a tragic story, but with learnings obtained, personally I feel a good player of Splinterlands and that is why this season I decided to play for the top 25 silver, I usually play without renting and with my summoners level two reached a pretty good position within the ranking, but well this is just an introduction of what has been this season of ups and downs.

To start the story I started the season with 700 ranking points like many players playing in bronze it took me 1 and a half days to get to silver 3 playing without rentals and that's where I started renting lots and lots of cards to be in the top.

My budget for the feat was about 9 dollars, I bought credits, in my opinion the best way to rent.

Today I am going to show you a screenshot of the whole pool of rented cards, they are not the same as the ones I started with, there will be 20% of cards that were rented and when they bounced my rental I did not rent them again because I had used them maybe once in the days or just never used them.

I will also have to re-rent two or three cards to have the full pool for the last days, although every day I have to re-rent some cards, I am not used to rent so many cards and there I got my first learnings:

. Make an Excel file with the cards that you want to rent and thus know if the rent is gone on any of the days.

. Rent as much as you can at the beginning because two days into the season the rents are cheaper than at the end of the season so if any of my rentals end the season I saved money on it.

. check the rentals before starting to play, just yesterday I took a quick look and thought I had everything until I go to do a battle with death and I see that the summoner level 4 was not in my lines and I had to settle for mine at level two, after that I checked everything thoroughly to realquilar the missing cards.

With ten days left to finish this season I reached my highest top ranking, 17th place, I was very happy with this number, unfortunately I didn't take a screenshot, but I have one from the previous day where I was in 26th place.

I was about 2 days stuck winning few points and losing a lot and that's where the decline came, maybe it was a mental decline maybe it was that I started to meet better players but one or two days ago I started to lose more than normal, and this in splinterlands is very heavily penalized because losing a game means about 20 to 25 points and winning one with luck means 15 points. So very easily you can lose 200 or 300 points, that was my case of being in 2780 points to be TODAY in the 2488 and with that not even be in the top 100, it was a hard blow, I got frustrated with each lost battle.

Right now I want to finish this season so I know where I'm going to end up.

The learning was very extensive both in learning new strategies that I didn't implement, seeing lineups of very top players.

Next season I am going to try again, but with a new air as I have ideas that I will implement that for the moment will be secret as I will use them and then I will show results.
I was thinking of doing a daily follow up, but I am still not very determined to do it, I don't know if I have readers for this idea.

Vengo a contarles una historia trágica, pero con aprendizajes obtenidos, personalmente me siento un buen jugador de Splinterlands y es por eso que esta temporada decidí jugar por el top 25 de plata, normalmente juego sin alquilar y con mis invocadores nivel dos llegó a un puesto bastante bueno dentro del ranking, pero bueno esto es solo una introducción de lo que ha sido esta temporada de subidas y bajadas.

Para empezar la historia arranque la temporada con 700 puntos de ranking como muchos jugadores jugando en bronce demore 1 día y medio en llegar a plata 3 jugando sin alquileres y es allí donde empecé a alquilar muchísimas cartas para estar en el top.

Mi presupuesto para la Hazaña fue de unos 9 dólares, compre créditos, a mi pensar la mejor forma de alquilar.

Hoy en día voy a mostrarles una captura de todo el pool de cartas alquiladas, no son la mismas con las que empecé habrá un 20% de cartas que fueron alquiladas y cuando rebotaron mi alquiler no volví a alquilarlas ya que las había usado quizás una vez en los días o simplemente no usado nunca

También tendré que re alquilar dos o tres cartas para tener el pool completo para los últimos días, aunque todos los días tengo que realquilar algunas cartas, no estoy acostumbrado a alquilar tantas cartas y ahí obtuve mis primeros aprendizaje:

. Hacer un Excel con las cartas que quieres alquilar y así saber si se fue el alquiler en alguno de los día

. Alquila lo que más puedas al principio ya que a los dos días de la temporada los alquileres son más baratos que al final por lo que si alguno de los alquileres míos llegan a terminar la temporada ahorré plata en el mismo

. revisa los alquileres antes de empezar a jugar, justo ayer eche un vistazo rápido y pensaba que estaba todo hasta que voy a realizar una batalla con muerte y veo que el invocador nivel 4 no estaba en mis líneas y tuve que conformarme con el mío en nivel dos, luego de eso revise todo minuciosamente para realquilar las cartas faltantes.

Faltando diez días para terminar esta temporada llegue a mi top más alto del ranking el puesto 17, ya me sentía muy contento con este número, lamentablemente no saque captura, pero tengo una del día anterior donde estaba en el puesto 26.

Estuve unos 2 días trabado ganando pocos puntos y perdiendo muchísimos y es allí donde llego la declive, quizás fue un declive mental quizás fue que empecé a encontrarme con mejores jugadore pero hace ya uno o dos días que empecé a perder mas de lo normal, y esto en splinterlands es muy fuertemente penalizado ya que perder una partida significa unos 20 a 25 puntos y ganar una con suerte sígnica 15 puntos. Por lo que con mucha facilidad puedes perder 200 o 300 puntos, ese fue mi caso de estar en 2780 puntos a estar HOY en los 2488 y con eso ni estar en el top 100, fue un golpe duro, me frustraba con cada batalla perdida.

Ahora mismo quiero terminar esta temporada para saber dónde voy a terminar

El aprendizaje fue muy amplio tanto en aprender nuevas estrategias que no implementaba, viendo alineaciones de jugadores muy top.

La próxima temporada lo voy a volver a intentar, pero con un aire nuevo ya que tengo ideas que voy a implementar que por el momento serán secretas ya que voy a usarlas y luego mostrare resultados
Estaba pensando en hacer un seguimiento diario, pero aún no estoy muy decidido a hacerlo no se si tengo lectores para esta idea.
