Match Analysis:

This is a 43 mana match allocation. Almost all types of decks are usable except death deck is not usable. By right in a Armored Up match using of Magic attack monsters will be more advisable as it cut through the Shield directly to monsters HP. However in this Match i choose to use a more melee based deck leveraging on the current Armored Up match limitation and at the same time higher speed monsters. Hoping that i am able to secure the First attack advantage.

Tenyii Striker 5 mana
Sand Worm 9 mana

I arrive at the Fire summoner Tarsa, i use Fire Deck is because i want to leverage on the Armored Up match limitation, Fire Deck is a more melee based deck and my highest level summoner in Fire Based Deck is Tarsa and at the same time i am also quite amazed with the buff of Tarsa to the whole Team.

A "hard" tanker must definitely be summon and the ability of the tanker is a big consideration, in order to have the tankers to live as long as possible. As the first ally monster to meet the opponent monster is very crucial in you wining the match. Since i am in Gold League the a mana of 43 is consider as average and i have the Luxury of summoning Living Lava at 7 mana. I choose Living Lava because of it's "Shield" ability and extra armor and at the same time it's HP is considered high as well. I need High HP against magic attacks and armor against melee/ range attacks as i am not sure of what are the tyes of monster the opponent will summon and this is the safest option.

Fineas Rage as the next inline although without armor, what this monster brings to the table is high speed and HP which can be good against magic attacks. High speed can increase the frequency of misses from opponent monsters damage.

I choose Ferox Defender as my 3rd tank although it's does not have the "Shield" ability like Living Lava nor the speed like Fineas Rage but it is greatly compensated with it's adding armor ability to all the allies if by chance opponent is using melee/ range lineups all these extra armor will be put to good use. Thus making more whole team "stronger" enabling them to be able to withstand more damages.

I choose Serpentine Spy as my first attacker with "Opportunity" ability as i am afraid that the opponent might be using a healer or some buff monsters that in hidden in between the lineup which my "Sneak" monsters is not able to throw damages at them. Slowing down my advancement.

I choose Tenyii Striker as my next attacker in line as it is a Sneak monster which is what i like to use and after some upgrade to this monster the ability with its stats are very impressive as a all rounded monster, one of the most powerful Sneak monster in the Fire Deck, which is a must use when playing Fire Deck.

Last but not least the monster that i summon is Sand Worm although at a very slow speed the damage and the HP sort of make it up for the flaw. Since eariler on i have summon Ferox Defender to add armor to all the allies monster, Sand Worm with armor can be a good tank for the back as well, and as a Sneak monster considering it's 5 attack point when it's turn is reach couple together with Tenyii Striker attack of 3 can almost kill most of the monster in 1 turn.


Into the match

The opponent use a melee / range lineup with added armor just like what i am using, my added armor by Ferox Defender really helps a lot on withstanding melee/ range attack. And i think that my Living Lava Shield ability is also another very effective ability in this match in buying more time for my attackers.

Did your strategy really works?

My strategy of adding armor/ Shield ability works great in this match and adding in Sneak and Opportunity monsters to bring down opponent monsters from the back and middle really do helps out a a lot.
