Strong tanker to be at the front lineup to absorb damage and also returning damage (melee attack) when not attacking

0 Mana is always a must for extra slot

Strong powerful monster but weak attack

Flying ability to increase the chances of missing attack landed

After some analysis of the opponent team a melee lineup is very possible however it turns out the opponent use a more range focus deck couple it with a Summoner with additional range attack. Luckily there is also melee monsters present in the opponent team so as not to put my Djinn Chwala skill to waste. There will surely be an extra slot for 0 mana monster adding it into the team is a good choice if you have one as 23 mana match in most scenario you will not be able to use all all the monster slots. I use Djinn Oshannus as next due to its high HP and Speed although only 2 attack but it is magic attack which means that even enemy monsters have shield in place Djinn Oshannus can cut through it and directly land the damage on its HP. On a side note using magic attacks is great for many occasion as you cut through the armour defense and you are not affected by the Thorn ability but you will want to think twice when you think that you will be facing Void enemy or enemy Summoner like Thaddius Brood etc that weaken your magic attack however if your magic attack monster is able to last, eventually you are still able to wipe out the opponent team. With a mere 2 mana left not much of monsters selection i have and to put the 2 mana into good use i choose Ice Pixie although it might not be able to withstand more than 1 damage but magic attack, its speed and flying ability some what make up for these flaws, Flying ability increase the chances of Ice Pixie missing the attack by opponent monster which is a great aid to backliner monsters as stronger defense mostly is in the front and not the back. As the game progress although i did not really make a right guess of the lineup my opponent is using i am glad that opponent is not using any Strong Opportunity or Sneak monster which can greatly crippled my team lineup although there is one but lucky before any significant damages is landed on my team it is already taken down. A range team can be great also especially opponent team range attacker comes with Flying ability but when range card becomes the first card it is there waiting for its death and not able to deal any damages at all. I do se some opponent use range monsters as a tank and it might be a good strategy also. Overall there is no rule on how you line up your monsters as long as you are able to defeat your opponent is the main point of the lineup.
