SPLINTERLANDS ART CONTEST ENTRY WEEK 270 | [ENG/ESP]

Hiii everyone!

Today I present to you the drawing of the card "Wood Nymph", this is my participation in the contest art of @splinterlands. I chose her because i found her so pretty and I also think that this it's like a challenge to me, make a character that her skin color is green. I also really like her long hair.

Hoy les presento el dibujo de la carta "Wood Nymph", es mi partecipacion al contest art de @splinterlands. Elegì ella porque me pareció muy bonita y tambien me pareció un reto hacer un personaje que tuviera como color de piel un color como el verde
Tambien me gusta mucho su cabello largo

THE STRUCTURE

I started by making a quick sketch of the pose, I was inspired by a painting: Ophelia by John Everett Millais, I will also show in the part of the background the images that inspired me. In the image of Wood Nymph I saw her related to water, so I decided to make her while she comes out from a lake

Empecé haciendo un boceto rapido de la pose, me inspiré en un cuadro: Ophelia de John Everett Millais, lo mismo mostraré en la parte del fondo las imagenes que me inspiraron. En la imagen de Wood Nymph la vi relacionada con el agua, asì que decidi haciendola mientras sale de un lago

THE SKETCH

I added details, I used the Watercolor brush with low opacity, that's why even though I used the color black it looks like gray, I drew details like the"clothes" she wears, the eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, etc

Añadì detalles, utilicé el pincel Acuarela con opacidad baja, por eso aunque utilicé el color negro se nota como gris, Dibujé detalles como la "ropa" que trae, los ojos, nariz, boca, las mejillas etc

LINEART

In this part, with the use of the Pen brush I made the lineart, with fine lines trying to be as precise as possible. I use the red/pink color for the cheeks

En esta parte, con el utilizo del pincel Pluma hice el lineart, con lineas finas intentando ser lo mas precisa posible. Utilicé el color rojo/rosado para las mejillas

COLOR BASE

In this part I took the colors from the reference of the character

En esta parte agarré los colores desde la imagen de referencia del personaje

SKIN

I really enjoy making shadows and giving "life" to my drawing
I put the shadows onthe face, chest, in the belly, in any place where I imagined the shadow, and I also made her blush

Me gusta mucho hacer la sombras y dar "vida" a mis dibujos
Empecé haciendo las sombras a la cara, pecho, en el cuello, barriga, en cualquier lugar donde me imaginaba la sombra, y tambien la hice sonrojada

DETAILS

In this part I made the details like the flower, the butterfly, the hair and what she is wearing. I didn't say it before but I use watercolor as a brush because of the way it blends between the colors.

En esta parte hice los detalles como la flor, la mariposa, el cabello y lo que trae de ropa, no lo dije antes pero utilizo como pincel el acuarela por su forma de difuminar entre los colores

BACKGROUND

I don't usually do backgrounds, it was a bit complicated for me
I was inspired by two images: Ophelia and an art found on Pinterest, at first I made the colors very flat and then with the help of the reference images I tried to make some details

No suelo hacer fondos, fue un poco complicado para mi
para guiarme me inspiré a dos imagenes: Ophelia y un arte encontrado por Pinterest, inicialmente hice los colores muy planos y guiandome con las imagenes de referencia intenté hacer detalles
