As for the use-case that you have mentioned, it sounds like what you want to utilize is the CARD LISTS feature.

From your collection, you just have to select all the cards that you want to play (or rent out, however you want to go through it), add it in a list. Then tick the lists in filters section to show only the cards that you don't wannt to play with.
