Splinterlands Art Contest Week 230 | KRON THE UNDYING

Hola comunidad de Alien Art, les comparto mi participación para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands
En esta ocasión me ha gustado mucho la carta de Kron the undying, así que quise dibujarla a mi estilo, una mezcla entre comic y anime
Lo que más me gustó de esta ilustración fueron los colores y la anatomía del personaje.

Hi Alien Art community, I share with you my participation for the @splinterlands art contest.
This time I really liked the card of Kron the undying, so I wanted to draw it in my style, a mix between comic and anime.
What I liked most about this illustration were the colors and the anatomy of the character.

Para esta ilustración empecé realizando un boceto rápido de referencia tratando de hacer una pose dinámica para el personaje, quise reflejar el coraje y la adrenalina luego de terminar una batalla, dando un ultimo vistazo al campo antes de partir

For this illustration I started by making a quick reference sketch trying to make a dynamic pose for the character, I wanted to reflect the courage and adrenaline after finishing a battle, giving a last look at the field before leaving.

En este punto hice un boceto más definido para entender mejor la ilustración, la posición y expresiones que quise mostrar

At this point I made a more defined sketch to better understand the illustration, the position and expressions I wanted to show.

Realizado el boceto ahora sí, empezamos con el Line Art, mi parte favorita de dibujar, es algo muy relajante, en este punto defino cada parte del personaje como musculatura, el cabello, absolutamente todo

Once the sketch is done, we start with the line art, my favorite part of drawing, it is very relaxing, at this point I define each part of the character as musculature, hair, absolutely everything.

Una vez definido el line art, me gusta agregar un proceso de sombreado utilizando varios pinceles que ofrece clip studio, dándole este acabado para ahora sí pasar a darle color

Once the line art is defined, I like to add a shading process using several brushes offered by clip studio, giving it this finish and then I can move on to coloring it.

Luego de definir el line art y las sombras paso a colorear todo el dibujo con los colores planos, así definir cada del personaje

Luego pasamos a las sombras proyectadas para definir nuestra perspectiva

Y por ultimo agregamos las contraluces, como había contado en post anteriores es algo que me encanta hacer ya que le da mucha vida al dibujo

And finally we add the backlighting, as I had told in previous posts is something I love to do because it gives a lot of life to the drawing.
