I want to share my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 273
I used KHA'ZI FIRE MAGE for this occasion. I've really enjoyed the new Rebellion card collection, and I decided to start my fanarts with this card :D

Quiero compartirles mi participación para el Concurso de arte de Splinterlands
KHA'ZI FIRE MAGE es la carta que usé em esta ocasión, la nueva collación de cartas de Rebellion me ha gustado mucho y decidí empezar con los fanarts con esta carta :D

To start with the sketch, the first thing that came to mind was that fierce personality of the character. I wanted to highlight that characteristic as I really liked it. I even tried to express it in his face, which was a bit challenging, but I think it could be achieved 🥴

Para empezar con el boceto lo primero que tuve en mente fue esa personalidad feroz del personaje, quería resaltar esa característica ya que me gustó mucho, incluso intenté expresarlo en su rostro, cosa que se me complicó un poco pero creo que se pudo conseguir 🥴

With the clear sketch idea in mind, I proceeded to add a few more details to the clothing and certain parts of the body, as well as to the dragons he carries in his hands and arms (which were quite challenging to represent xD). The next step was to add the base colors and proceed with the rendering 🤩

Ya teniendo la idea del boceto clara, procedí a dar unos cuantos detalles más para la ropa y ciertas partes del cuerpo, así como tambien a los dragones que porta en sus manos y brazos (complicados de representar por cierto xD)
Lo siguiente fué agregar los colores base y proceder con el renderizado 🤩

The rendering process lately seems to be the most relaxing part of illustrating for me. I used to feel the same way about lineart when doing cartoon or anime styles. I thought it would only happen with that, but now, practicing splash art, I could say I enjoy it even more 😅
At this point, I added many shadows and small details I wanted to highlight, as well as giving orientation and definition to the fire that Khazi expels from her fists

El proceso de renderizado últimamente me parece la parte más relajante de ilustrar, me pasa también con el lineart cuando hago estilos cartoon o anime, creí que solo me pasaría con eso, pero no, ahora al practicar los splashart podría decir que hasta lo disfruto más 😅
En este punto agregué muchas sombras y pequeños detalles que quería resaltar, además de darle la orientación y definición al fuego que Khazi expulsa de sus puños

Determining the background took me a lot of time, you can't imagine how much, haha. I went in circles a lot (probably unnecessarily xD)
So, in the end, I decided to use one similar to his original background, in a reddish tone, with a touch of movement, suggesting that he is performing some attack, seen in slow motion 🥴

Para determinar el fondo pasé mucho tiempo, no se imaginan cuanto jaja le di demasiadas vueltas (creo que innecesarias xD) Así que al final decidí usar uno parecido a su fondo original, en una tonalidad rojiza, con el toque de movimiento, dando a entender que está realizando algún ataque, visto en cámara lenta🥴

Anyway... I present the final result. I think it turned out just as I imagined it, and I feel that I was able to capture the idea I had initially.

Creo que ha quedado tal cual me la imaginé, siento que pude representar la idea que tuve al principio.
