I don't see this situation lasting very long, for this reason: competition at the end of the season is fierce
Markets usually fix themselves with this kind of problem... When people realize that there are NOT enough cards to rent at the end of the season, they will try to rent those cards a day two earlier... after that 3-4 days, or a week.. It should lead to long-term rentals which are the best option for the card owners...
But this need time, patience, and intelligence :)

Exactly. There are already long term renters, but while now they are more of an exception, in the future they might be the majority.
