Defender of Truth / Splinterlands Pixel Art con animación, paso a paso [Esp/Eng]

Hola a todos en la comunidad de Hive, y especialmente a la de Splinterlands, hoy quiero traerles un nuevo dibujo de este mundo de criaturas increíbles, esta vez les traigo a Defender of Truth, una carta del mazo de vida, que me pareció que tiene un excelente diseño, y como no podía ser de otra forma, en pixeles se ve muy bien igualmente, jajaja.

Hello everyone in the Hive community, and especially the Splinterlands community, today I want to bring you a new drawing of this world of incredible creatures, this time I bring you Defender of Truth, a card from the deck of life, which I thought has an excellent design, and how could it be otherwise, in pixels it looks very good anyway, jajaja.

Al igual que el último personaje que compartí hace algunas semanas, Byzantine Kitty, este me llevo varios días para poder lograr un diseño que le hiciera justicia, tratando de apegarme lo más posible a su versión original, por lo que tal vez más adelante cuando mi talento en este tipo de dibujos mejore, podré darle un toque más personal, y hasta lograr una buena animación con el mismo blandiendo su arma.

Como ya es una costumbre en mis posts, aquí les comparto la versión original de la carta para que puedan observar mejor sus detalles, y ya que es una carta de generaciones pasadas, por lo que tengo entendido no es muy utilizada actualmente en el juego, por lo que puede que muchos no la conozcan.

Like the last character I shared a few weeks ago, Byzantine Kitty, this one took me several days to come up with a design that would do her justice, trying to stick as closely as possible to her original version, so maybe later when my If my talent in this type of drawing improves, I will be able to give it a more personal touch, and even achieve a good animation with him brandishing his weapon.

As it is a custom in my posts, here I share the original version of the card so that you can better observe its details, and since it is a card from past generations, from what I understand it is not currently widely used in the game, so many may not know it.

Proceso del Dibujo / Drawing Process:

1- Mi proceso para crear cualquier dibujo es siempre diferente, y aunque pueda parecer una broma, comencé realizando un bosquejo muy simple de un humano, y poco a poco fuí agregándole los detalles, empezando por la parte superior de su armadura.

1- My process to create any drawing is always different, and although it may seem like a joke, I started by making a very simple sketch of a human, and little by little I added details, starting with the upper part of his armor.

2- A medida que iba diseñando a Defender of Truth, iba eliminando el vaguisimo bosquejo inicial, logrando poco a poco un dibujo más definido.

2- As I was designing Defender of Truth, I was eliminating the very vague initial sketch, gradually achieving a more defined drawing.

3- Luego de definir gran parte de lo que será la armadura de Defender of Truth, comencé a diseñar su cara, aplicando de una vez la paleta de colores.

3- After defining a large part of what Defender of Truth's armor will be, I began to design its face, applying the color palette at once.

4- En está etapa continúe coloreando al personaje, dejando el sombreado para el final.

4- At this stage continue coloring the character, leaving the shading for last.

5- Algo que me costó mucho realizar fueron los miembros inferiores del dibujo, por lo que deje esto ya para el final, al mismo tiempo fui agregando el color y las sombras poco a poco.

5 Something that was very difficult for me to do were the lower limbs of the drawing, so I left this for the end, at the same time I was adding the color and the shadows little by little.

6- Al terminar con la armadura de Defender of Truth, ya mi dibujo estaba casi listo, aunque me faltaba aún un detalle muy importante...

6- When I finished with the Defender of Truth armor, my drawing was almost ready, although I was still missing a very important detail...

7- La capa azul de este personaje es muy representativa del mismo, por lo que no podía estar listo en ella. Luego de varios intentos, por fin me gustó el resultado final y para terminar solo hacía falta agregar los colores y sombras en la capa.

7- The blue cape of this character is very representative of it, so it could not be ready in it. After several attempts, I finally liked the final result and to finish it was only necessary to add the colors and shadows on the layer.

8- Cuando ya estaba convencido de que está seria la versión final del dibujo, al exportarlo de la aplicación me di cuenta del tamaño de la mano derecha, por lo que volví a editarlo y agregarle otros pequeños detalles.

8- When I was convinced that the final version of the drawing was serious, when I exported it from the application I realized the size of the right hand, so I edited it again and added other small details.

Luego de quedar satisfecho con el diseño de Defender of Truth, exporte el dibujo, y como ya es una costumbre, eliminé el fondo para terminar definitivamente.

En vista de lo comentado en el post anterior, aún me falta mucho para poder hacer un fondo adecuado para dañar este dibujo, pero posiblemente el próximo dibujo si le haga su fondo, y quién sabe, hasta una animación es muy posible.

After being satisfied with the Defender of Truth design, I exported the drawing, and as usual, I removed the background to finish for good.

In view of what was commented in the previous post, I still have a long way to go to be able to make a suitable background to damage this drawing, but possibly the next drawing if I make its background, and who knows, even an animation is very possible.
