A warm welcome to another splinter-week with the theme card 🐲DRAGONS🐲. This week we are allowed to chose from "ANY Rarity, Edition, Attack and Ability" of the Dragon Unit and combine with any other splinters. I have chosen just ONE DRAGON and summoner for my battle challenge. 🐲DRAGONS🐲 a splinter that, in my opinion, is the most powerful in the Splinterlands. While not all are employable in all rulesets, a fair number of time it calls for dragons and trust they'll deliver massive brute force in battle. They are useful in battles and are designed to cancel and neutralize enemy monsters.
This splinter is without a doubt the most diverse of all; there is a wide range of cards and attack types, and their amazing abilities will make every player desire to have them on deck.
I understand the image dragons conjure up, you'll picture a massive fire-breathing monster. But, the dragon I'm about to introduce to you is a cutee, thou don't judge it's cuteness for weakness as this dragon is fierce with outstanding abilities. Without further ado, let's get started and present the Team line up.
⚔️TEAM LINEUP⚔️
🐲BYZANTINE KITTY - SUMMONER
An extraordinary 3-star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ summoner, the theme card of the week, so adorable that it'll misguide you while it strikes. A most wanted summoner in the whole of splinterlands with the supernatural ability to grant the +2SPEED
, HEAL
ability which will heal front line monsters each round of battle, and the TRUE STRIKE
ability to the monsters willing to fight alongside.
You'll see that the Regular untamed edition cost $360 at current market for level 1. While for rentals card goes for ~198.17 Dec per day, Level 1 at 1000CP. At max level this card goes for 2700.863 Dec per day, Level 4 at 11,550CP.
The Gold untamed edition is $3400 at current market for level 2. While for rentals card goes for 554.44 Dec per day. Level 2 at 50,000CP. At max level he cost same as regular foil for rentals and goes goes for 12000 Dec, Level 8 at 210,000CP.
🌊 DIEMONSHARK - 1ST POSITION
DIEMONSHARK has a very strong defense, speed and health to act as both resistance and tank unit. A powerful 6-star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ monster who fully deserves it's moniker. The name itself demonstrates how demonic this monster can be. Bursting through Hades, this enormous size monsters is known as the Celestial of Sharks. His body is covered in thick armored scales, and his powerful fins and tail allow him to move quickly enough to avoid enemy attacks and Trample on them. Never try to Enrage this monster because if he becomes enraged, he transforms into a demon.
This cards attack type is Melee, a very powerful card and it is part of the Water unit. It costs 8-mana to use in battle.
🌊DEEPLURKER - SECOND POSITION
The DEEPLURKER is a big unit with decent melee attack points, but the best part is that it has the Opportunity to strike the opponent camp's weakest link. A 6-star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ common monster with the Poison ability to cause damage to monsters who gets poisoned at the start of each round.
This cards attack type is Melee, a very powerful card and it is part of the Water unit. It costs 6-mana to use in battle.
🌊DJINN OSHANNUS - THIRD POSITION
Legend has it that this powerful monster is loyal and would do anything to fight against the chaos legion who stand to oppose Magic. Ancient monster with powerful magic abilities. DJINN OSHANNUS' excellent Forcefield ability only can be attacked with monsters of +5. Magic attack misses him cause of his Phase ability and if hit, his Void ability recues the damage. A 3-star ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Legendary warrior who has demonstrated it's prowess.
This cards attack type is Magic, and it is part of the Water unit. It costs 8-mana to use in battle , as a result, it will be an excellent card for both mid & high mana ruleset battles.
🌊RULER OF THE SEAS - FOURTH POSITION
According to legend, he is as old as the seven seas. The Ocean Oracle is well-known for being the most feared of its kind, possessing knowledge that spans time and space. A powerful monster who is well-deserving of his rank and abilities. His Silence ability reduces all enemy magic monsters' attacks, while blasting the enemy monster adjacent to his target. RULER OF THE SEAS Swift ability increases the speed of all team monsters in battle.
This cards attack type is Magic, and it is part of the Water unit. It costs 6-mana to use in battle , as a result, it will be an excellent card for both mid & high mana ruleset battles.
🌊PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS - FIFTH POSITION
A Legendary monster who because of his flying and dodging abilities, he has a 100% chance of dodging enemies, whether melee or ranged. If that monster has the ability to fly or evade, it cancels out the effect of those abilities. This case is highly unlikely, and that's what makes this powerful monster one of a kind. Another ability he has is the demoralize effect to melee attack. He is well deserving of his title and named as the PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS.
This cards attack type is Magic, and it is part of the Water unit. It costs 10-mana to use in battle , as a result, it will be an excellent card for high mana ruleset battles.
🌊ICE PIXIE - SIXTH POSITION
In final position comes the rare 6-star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ICE PIXIE who can deal considerable magic damage to the enemy. She mainly serves as a magic attacker that can attack from any position. Her Flying ability will destroy non-flying melee and ranged attack enemies, while her Shatter ability will completely destroy the armor of the enemy she targets. She might look little, but very dangerous.
This cards attack type is Magic, a Rare card, cost 2 mana to use in battle and it is part of the Water unit.

This was a high mana cap battle with an interesting ruleset; ✔️HEAVY HITTERS: All monsters were granted the knockout ability and the ✔️SPREADING FURY: All monsters were granted the enraged ability.
The enemy came at me with summoner Enemy-TARSA from the fire splinter accompanied by wicked monsters, Enemy-LIVING LAVA in first position, Enemy-DISINTEGRATOR in second, Enemy-TENYII STRIKER in third, Enemy-DJINN APPRENTICE in fourth, Enemy-SERPENTINE SPY in fifth and Enemy-FIRE ELEMENTAL in sixth.
⚔️ROUND 1⚔️
According to the rule set, all monsters are given the KNOCKOUT ability.
According to ruleset, all monsters are given ENRAGE ability.
Enemy Summoner-TARSA GIVES HER TEAM +1 HEALTH AND +1 MELEE ATTACK BOOST😰.
BYZANTINE KITTY GIVES ALL TEAM MONSTERS
+2 SPEED, HEALING AND TRUE STRIKEABILITY.RULER OF THE SEAS GIVES ALL TEAM MONSTERS
SWIFTNESSABILITY while heSilences🤐all enemy monsters.PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS
demoralizesall enemy monsters and in return for the favors, Enemy-LIVING LAVArustthe baroness' monsters shield and Enemy-DISINTEGRATORdemoralizesthem too😁PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS launches the first attack on Enemy-LIVING LAVA, affecting it's health directly -3.
Next comes DJINN OSHANNUS and ICE PIXIE striking at enemy-LIVING LAVA before he even get's the chance to react and again, his health affected -3. The 'shatter' from ICE PIXIE also removed his shield. Leaving room for DIEMONSHARK to strike again -1 health.
RULER OF THE SEAS take advantage again and strikes at the now staggering enemy-LIVING LAVA killing him instantly. The blast goes on to hit enemy-DISINTEGRATOR affecting it's health -2. enemy-LIVING LAVA's death restore back the protective shield of DIEMONSHARK and ICE PIXIE.
DEEPLURKER strikes at enemy-DISINTEGRATOR, totally removing his shield -2.
Enraged, enemy-FIRE ELEMENTAL strikes at DIEMONSHARK affecting it's shield plus afflicting him and the blast goes on to hit DEEPLURKER affecting it's health -2.
enemy-SERPENTINE SPY sneaks and launches a strike at ICE PIXIE removing her shield, While enemy-DJINN APPRENTICE affecting it's health directly -2.
enemy-TENYII STRIKER and enemy-DISINTEGRATOR both miss their strikes at ICE PIXIE and DIEMONSHARK.
⚔️ROUND 2⚔️
DIEMONSHARK launches a strike at enemy-DISINTEGRATOR, affecting it's health -2 and while still staggering, holding onto it's last life line, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS gives a deadly blow and dead goes enemy-DISINTEGRATOR.
DEEPLURKER then launches a deadly at enemy-SERPENTINE SPY , killing him instantly.
DJINN OSHANNUS , ICE PIXIE and RULER OF THE SEAS all take turns to strike at enemy-TENYII STRIKER, reducing it's health to the very last life line. The blast from this strikes goes on to affect enemy-DJINN APPRENTICE -2 health.
Enraged, enemy-DJINN APPRENTICE and enemy-FIRE ELEMENTAL also take turns to strike at DIEMONSHARK , this affects it's health -1 and removes his shield. The blast goes on to affect the health of DEEPLURKER -2. enemy-TENYII STRIKER misses his strike on DIEMONSHARK.
⚔️ROUND 3⚔️
DIEMONSHARK launches a deadly strike at enemy-TENYII STRIKER killing him immediately.
TRAMPLE!!! DIEMONSHARK again launches a deadly at enemy-DJINN APPRENTICE -4 health killing him immediately.
All charged, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS goes for the kill at enemy-FIRE ELEMENTAL -4 health killing her immediately too.

DO I LIKE THE 🐲BYZANTINE KITTY DRAGON🐲 SPLINTER CARD?
BYZANTINE KITTY DRAGON🐲 SPLINTER CARD? As already mentioned, 🐲DRAGONS🐲 are my favorite cards to play with because they are so flexible and adaptable to almost any type of rule set. Left to me, we should always have atleast 2 or 3 of these amazing splinter warriors on deck to combine their great power with the rest of our cards and increase our chances of winning😆.
I definitely like the 🐲BYZANTINE KITTY DRAGON🐲 card I picked for this battle, because at Gold league this summoner have useful abilities that aid monsters of other splinter cards such as in the case of this battle.
The 🐲BYZANTINE KITTY DRAGON🐲 served it's purpose well. The battle was exciting to watch and I will keep seeking more ways to engage this splinter in battle.
DID MY STRATEGIES WORK AND WHAT I WOULD'VE DONE DIFFERENTLY?
Yes, my strategy was very effective to be fair. The battle's lineup was simple and highly defensive and I was 75% certain what the enemy would go for Melee attackers and surely so.
In this battle, I focused on 2 melee tanker as DIEMONSHARK and DEEPLURKER, then 4 Magic attackers as DJINN OSHANUS , RULER OF SEAS , PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS and ICE PIXIE to deplete enemy lineup quicker. All in all, if we think strategically and properly manage the mana available for each battle, the victory rate will undoubtedly exceed 85%.
🐲DRAGONS🐲 are no doubt an incredible splinter to pair with any other splinter and this battle challenge has surely exposed this fact.
😊That will be all about my weekly battle with 🐲DRAGONS🐲 as the themed card.
