[Lore of Shadow Snitch]

Shadow Snitches are created by the conjurers of the Chaos Legion. Weaving Death magic, they breathe life into beings made completely of darkness. The purpose of the Shadow Snitches is to be deployed into lands prior to the Chaos Legion's invasion. Moving from shadow to shadow, they are listeners and watchers, feeding information back to the Chaos Legion. But once the invasion is complete, the Shadow Snitches still serve a purpose. They can locate and follow high-value targets, reporting back on movements to Chaos Legion leadership. If needed, Shadow Snitches can also capture prisoners and bring them back for interrogation.

My Lineup's Explanation :

PS: Before reading the explanation of my lineup, please remember that i played on the little mana rules which only allow me to use monster with 4 or less mana.

Summoner

Thaddius Brood is my chosen Summoner simply because it is free to use since it is one of the basic cards from CL and i thought will be more useful than Contessa in this ruleset of little league, because he can reduce enemies health and it is very important to get the enemies down earlier (especially on little league ruleset when the monster's health and damage is nearly same). Plus, the reduce magic atk is pretty usefull as well when facing the obsidian or another summoner with +1 magic atk.

Front Row

I choose Xenith Monk as my tank because this monster is pretty eficient. With 4 mana, he got 6 health which cause him pretty hard to get killed with any kinds of attack (especially the physical one that could missed) and with 3 speed, he had a good chance to hit enemies earlier without getting missed and had a pretty good chance to evade the monster with 1 or 2 speed. You dont want your monster to get killed without doing anything, especially on little league ruleset when you got a tight health dan atk difference.

Second Monster

It's pretty obvious for the second monster i would chose this-weekly challenge monster-shadow snitch because he got the reach ability that allow him to hit the enemies from second position. Well, actually i dont relly on this reach ability because he got only 1 speed which cause him to almost missed every high speed monster. What i looked after this monster is his pretty high health to allow my hitter monster safe back there to hit and gain more health (because i try to use 2 life leech monster)

Third Monster

As i've said it before, i try to use 2 monster with life leech ability. Well, Venari Bonesmith is the first one. This reward monster that you could get from the chest is pretty useful on low mana rules. With magic atk and life leech ability, you cannot missed, and will gain 1 health every turn. The only problem of this monster is when you face monster with void ability, but since i don't see any monster with void ability on my enemy's recent battles, i took the risk to use him as my hitter (that could turn up to be a tank as well).

Fourth Monster

The Fourth monster i set is Death Elemental. I choose him to prevent my lineup got stuck or struggling when trying to kill enemy's front monster. Ignoring armor (because he got magic atk), got snipe ability to hit the backline, and by help of the reduce health debuff by the Summoner, i expect this monster to kill enemies hitter first, before causing too much damage for me. I put this monster on the center of the formation to prevent him get killed earlier by front monster neither by sneak monster

Fifth Monster

Life Sapper. If you don't have venari bonesmith or having 1 less mana to use him, you can use this monster instead. This monster have the same ability with the venari bonesmith with 1 less mana cost and 1 less health. With his magic atk, i expect this monster to become true strike hitter to kill enemy's front monster and with his life leech ability, i expect him to become a semi tanker by gaining some health and took the damage from enemies who might have the sneak ability.

Sixth Monster

Last but not least, the sixth monster for me is soul strangler. Only cost 3 mana to be used, this monster gave you an interesting bargain with his 2 range atk, but the problem is he only got 2 health and 2 speed which cause him sometimes get miss when attacking and easily killed by enemies with opportunity or sneak ability. I use this as my only range damage to prevent me got stuck if my enemies got void ability. I took the risk to put him as last monster to give the life sapper time to gain health.

Does My Strategy is Worked ? :

Putting the shadow snitch behind my main tank works perfectly on this situation, it's because my enemy choose to go all out to attack my front monster. This mean my strategy to put him as a second tank to cover my hitter is very effective. If i choose to put another hitter rather the shadow snitch, i might lose because you can see that my enemy is got more speed to wipe me first. Maybe if the is a rules to disabled the neutral monster with little mana ruleset, i might use the shadow snitch as my main tank. I might also try to put him as my last monster if there is a sneak ruleset to go as the backline tanker.

About Shadow Snitch :

What i like about this monster :
1. Low Mana Cost and Not an Epic or Legendary Monster, these status gave him opportunity to played on almost all rules except the disabled of melee monster and dark element;
2. Got reach ability with high health. This combination allows you to got more atk and a second tanker at the same time.
What i don't like about this monster:
1. Low speed. With only 1 speed, this monster will struggled to land his atk to enemies with higher speed, especially with flying or dodge ability. You should barely count his atk as a damage if got enemies front line with high speed. But this low speed will turn into a high advantage if you play him on reverse speed ruleset, that made him as the faster monster in this situation.
2. This monster is a so-so monster, not an ultimate monster that will give you the best stats or ability. But on a certain situation like what i've shared, he still could be a useful monster.

When to Use Shadow Snitch :

I suggest you to use this monster only for this situation:
1. When you need a second tanker. Don't expect his atk to hit except when you play on reverse speed ruleset. But his 6 health is a nice bargain to spend with 4 mana;
2. On low mana ruleset. This ruleset caused many monster (that have more than 4 mana) cannot be used. Shadow Snitch cost 4 mana, with 6 health and reach ability. So you can use him as a pretty useful tanker or a second tanker with reach ability;
3. On reverse speed ruleset. His lame 1 speed will turn up into a great advantage on reverse speed ruleset that makes him one of the fastest monster on the field.
4. On all sneak ruleset. With his 6 health and pretty low mana cost, using this monster as a backline tanker would be great idea.

When to Avoid using Shadow Snitch :

I don't recommend you to use this monster for situation:
1. On a battle with very low mana to spend. Eventough this monster is a pretty nice bargain with 4 mana cost and 6 health and reach ability, but on a very low mana battle like 12, you dont need a second tanker and cannot relly on him to win the battles. It's not just about his very slow speed, but also his low atk, you need more damage to win the battle, and with 4 mana cost that you spend, only to get him on the field, it's a waste of mana. You should look up into another monster that more efficient on this situation, like the one that gave you thorn effect that will give you more damage against melee monster, or cards with high speed and damage to avoid enemies atk and causing high damage;
2. On a battle with a very high mana to spend. With many mana that you can use, there comes many chance for a better monster that having a better stats, ability, or buff to comes on the field. Like i've said it before, this monster is not an ultimate monster with best stats nor ability.

Conclussion

For low league like bronze, this shadow snitch is not the ultimate monster that you can relly to win the battle. But with the right strategy and combination with anouther card could make a great impact, especially on specific ruleset like little league with 4 or less mana allowed, reverse speed, nor the sneak ruleset.
