Hello guys, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, Splinterlands have picked Life Sapper as the Weekly Monster, a very good monster to play on low mana ruleset, let's see how it goes on my battle!

Life sappers are in between life and death. One side of their body is ghostly while the other is alive and well. They are neither fully living nor dead. They feed off the energies around them, and simply being within view of a Life Sapper will make you feel sick and weak. They siphon energy from their victims, slowly weakening and sickening them while simultaneously healing themselves.

General Information About Life Sapper

As you can see at picture above, this monster just cost 3 mana which makes him easy to fit for low mana condition or to fill your least mana left on the match. This monster have life leech ability since lv 1 which cause him pretty powerful on low mana ruleset, just like those monster that have healing ability. Started with 1 magic damage, his damage could be 2 magic damage started at lv 4, and on maxed lv, he could have the blast ability which is powerfull on low mana ruleset. He got low health, just started with 2 health, and just 4 health at maxed lv, so you have to put him on safe position and let his health bulked.

Before we discuss about the formation, here is the rules for this match
Unprotected : No Armor For Everyone
Rise of the common : Only common and rare monster are available
Splinter available : All splinter are available

It's a bit suprising that enemies are using Llama as the summoner, because i expect more "normal" battle. But no problem, sneak and snipe monster are doing their part perfectly to wipe enemies backline. Without my last monster that killed by the sandworm, my teams still able to eliminate the last stand golem.

What i like about Life Sapper:

What i like about Life Sapper is he only cost 3 mana and classified as rare monster, which cause him to suit on most ruleset and on tight mana ruleset. I also loved his life leech ability that could turn him into a high health monster to tank from enemies while spam magic damage on them.

What i don't like about Life Sapper :

He got pretty low stats, especially his magic attack and his health which cause him could easily killed by enemies with snipe or opportunity. His redemption skills also unlocked on maxed lv, so it takes diamond league or higher to get his skill out.

When to Use Life Sapper :

I suggest you to play this monster on medium low mana cap, where his mana would suit best and every mana is counted. I also recommend use this monster on equal health to his health high from the start and bulking along with battle, and no sneak ruleset will suit him to prevent her getting assasinated by enemies with snipe or sneak ability.

When to Avoid Life Sapper:

It is clear to avoid this monster on very high mana cap because you will have many monster with better stats and abilities. Magic hit armor ruleset also a negative rule for him, because he can't doing life leech when the damage is blocked by armor. Enemies with void ability is also a big no, because he got low magic attack which sometimes could be 0 damage to void enemies, this way he cannot doing life leech as well.

Life sapper have a good ability with low mana cost that suit very well on low mana ruleset, but he got low health which cause him to easily got assasinate by enemies with snipe, sneak, or opportunity ability. His damage is also very low, and a void ability could turn his damage into 0 and cannot doing life leech. Be careful to use him to get the best result .
