How Much LEO Can You Earn From Delegating to Leo-Curator?

As you would know, I have an interest in analysing the curation rewards of different tokens.

Previously, I have posted the statistics of the SPT that I received from delegating to @monster-curator, as well as the 1UP that I received from delegating to @oneup-curator. You can find the SPT numbers here and the 1UP numbers here.

In summary:

• The average annualised yield for SPT curation over 50 days was 30%. It was also pretty stable when I tracked it over 14 days (34%) or 30 days (29%).
• The average annualised yield for 1UP curation over 30 days was 157%. The statistics for 50 days will be out soon!

Recently, I realised I had 10 LEO tokens in my Hive Engine wallet but I wasn't able to earn any curation rewards through my own manual curation even though I have been reading and voting posts frequently. Then I realised it could be because 10 LEO tokens staked is likely too little. So I thought why not delegate these 10 LEO tokens to @leo-curator to see if I could get anything in return?

And it was a surprise when I saw little bits of LEO trickling into my wallet almost everyday! Now that it has been 30 days since my delegation, I have tabulated the statistics. As you can see, while there are some fluctuations from day to day, the average annualised yield over 30 days is around 8.6%!

Even though these are not skyrocketing numbers, I would be earning 0% if I did nothing and left them in my Hive Engine wallet, at least until I accumulated a substantial amount of LEO to earn curation rewards manually. So kudos to @leo-curator for doing an awesome job!

On a side note, I thought I should also address possible questions that readers might have.

Q: Why do I only have 10 LEO tokens?
A: The reason is, most of my posts on Hive (as you can see in my profile) are related to Splinterlands or fiction/freewriting, and I don't write much about finance.

Q: The LEO received over 30 days is 0.071 LEO, which is just USD 0.01. This is so little and won't make a big difference.
A: Yes I do agree that at this moment, it won't make a big difference. But everything starts from somewhere small and then grows from there. The intention of my post is also to share that you can earn curation rewards from as little as 10 LEO tokens! So instead of leaving them in your Hive Engine wallet, why not delegate them?

I hope this post provides an insight on the expected yield that can be achieved from delegation and I will continue to review at a later stage to see if the yields change over time.
