2024 & Beyond (My Goals)

I'm a little late with getting this out there but here it is regardless. 2023 has come and gone and with it the crypto winter seems to also have left. So far 2024 seems to be the year of the Bull. Will NFT's make a big come back? Will the HIVE Token see new highs? All we can do is stay tuned to find out. As with all things in life its best to set some goals so we don't lose sight of the things we want to accomplish. With that being said, here are my HIVE Goals for 2024 and beyond. Normally I like to toss out some stagnant numbers for each main token I'm stacking but over the past 2* years I have not been actively posting or trading to the degree I should have and I suspect that to continue for awhile. This means I have to adjust my expectations and goals along with such actions. In short I'm going to take a less is more approach. Which brings me to my first goal (Posting Less). I know what you are thinking posting less? What kind of goal is that? I am a big believer in consistency and if one wants to run a successful blog, consistent posting is the best way to go. However one can get burnt out trying to put out a daily post. For this reason I have decided that moving forward I'll try a new approach. My new posting goal is to post two-four times a week.

My HIVE Token goals will simply be, get more; much more. Those of us that have been in the cryptocurrency business for more than a year or two have experienced multiple bull runs and we know with a bull run comes correction. Hopefully I'll will be in a position to capitalize when it does. My past goal to build my Hive Holdings was to be trading some of my Splinterland assets for Hive Tokens but things have not worked out in that regard due to market conditions and me simply not taking action when I should have. Sometime during this year I might have to bite the bullet and pick one of my SPL holdings (Packs, cards, cryptocurrency, ect.) and simply trade them for the HIVE Token regardless of market conditions. I have the same goal for the Leo Token. I spent too much time waiting for my conditions I originally set to take fruition before jumping in. Now I'm just going to work on getting more. Is Leo $0.10, great lets get some. Is Leo $0.05, great lets get some. More is the goal as I envision a Hive Blockchain with the Leo Token being the front-runner of second lawyer tokens. In fact I believe its already the front-runner for second lawyer tokens so it continuing to be so when the general population takes notice of the Hive Blockchain is likely.

SPL: As I mentioned above I want to diversify little. My holdings are no where near worth what they once where and I'm not sure (aside from another NFT craze) that they will reach previous all time highs again. I believe Splinterlands is still a great investment/ fun way to earn cryptocurrency and over-all has an amazing community/ team behind it so me trading some of my assets is not a means of me leaving the game. In-fact once I do decide to trade a portion of my assets the funds I don't put into the HIVE Token or Leo Token will likely be used to reposition within the game. I am behind in my SPL News and collection which is why I decided its best that I simply wait out the current set. Hopefully this will allow me to put myself in a position to get a decent bag of Packs during the next pack release. I want to see how the current set performs after Splinterlands runs out of packs to sell. Will the current sets value increase like majority of past sets or will they end up like CHAOS and dip in value? The outcome of that is going to heavily influence the bag size I intend on purchasing during Splinterlands next Pack release.

I been away for 3 months and have some catching up to do with the other on-goings the Hive Blockchain has to offer. Which include projects such as but not limited to Holozing and tokens such as MEME and SPT. I won't be placing any set in stone goals but at the very least I'll be keeping a close eye on these tokens/ projects. I do have a ZING goal (Holozing) that I need to complete; reaching 100,000 Zing Tokens. Sometime in the next week I'll be looking at that and seeing what I need to do to complete it. With the HIVE TOKEN USD worth on the rise now might be a good time to purchase a bag of ZING (Available on most if not all Hive Dex's such as Hive-Engine and TribalDex). As for life goals: I'm in a much better spot mentally than I have been in a handful of years and to top that off I intend on getting back to exercising/ lifting weights. I'm in no means completely out of shape but we all can improve in this regard, regardless of our current state. Hopefully me typing out such here helps motivate me to get started with the "training" and to not stop once I start. As I'm sure most who exercised/ worked out or trained know; getting started is the hardest part. We humans are creatures of repetitiveness and once we work in a workout to our daily routine it gets much easier to keep up with that workout. Sharpening the body will help sharpen the mind and vise versa. I'm sure there are plenty of things I left out of this post that will come to mind after but that's it for now.
