The big news in Splinterlands this week is the partnership the Dev's announced between Rapper, Recording Artist, and Reality TV Star Waka Flocka and themselves. To celebrate such a collaboration a new Death Legendary Summoner will be up for sale at 12pm EST / 17:00 UTC on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 in the Splinterlands store. There will only be 500 copies of this card for sale on the official Splinterlands site. Another 500 copies will be available for purchase using WAX. All copies will be MAX copies that are unable to be uncombined. The card itself will have a 3 MANA cost to play in battle and be equipped with the poison ability. The initial price of this card will be 5000 SPS and 500 Vouchers. It is unknown at this time what the 500 copies being sold for WAX will cost. This card will come with a usecase that no other Splinterlands card has. The card will act as a digital fashion piece that can be worn using Augmented Reality in Snapchat.

Yes indeed that is definitely something Ive noticed since coming to Hive this past summer, there are a plethora of examples of generous people giving away things of all types to others. When you stop and consider that we are all of different races, genders, national backgrounds, religions, and we can come together in the spirit of community, freedom, and empowerment of the individual. This entire collab with Wakka is going to be interesting to see play out. The announcement was enough to raise the price of sps .02 which at current supply is sort of a big deal.

That is interesting, I suspect SPS price to take another bump up in price hours leading to the cards release. I'm wondering if I should stop staking my daily SPS and stack a few thousand liquid so I can sell and reposition.
