Lets Look At My CHAOS Pack Investment
Some months back I purchased 740 CHAOS Legion booster packs from the secondary markets (Hive Dex's, Ex. LeoDex / Hive-Engine / TribalDex). Today (07/05/2023) I still hold all 740 of those packs. With the overall markets dipping it got me curious as to how that over-all investment is panning out. Lets take a look at the numbers......
740 Booster Pack Purchase
Time of Purchase HIVE Token Cost: 3,529
Time of Purchase USD Cost: $1,630 USD
HIVE Value On 03/08/2 : 4,418
USD Value On 03/08/23: $1,695 USD
Current HIVE Token Value: 2708
Current USD Value: $908 USD

Next Move???
As you can see that is a loss of *47% when calculated in USD. The HIVE Token value of the purchased 740 CHAOS packs have also dwindled (roughly a 39% loss from their ;CHAOS PACKS; peak investment value). While those numbers are certainly not on the positive side I don't think it would take much buzz to get them shot up to well beyond their current USD market value. In fact I'm thinking about parking some more of my liquid HIVE in these packs. For now I'm just sitting and waiting but if for some reason the HIVE Token price starts an upward trend and CHAOS Legion doesn't follow; I'm 100% jumping at the opportunity to hold more CHAOS PACKS. If the opposite happens and HIVE TOKEN dips while CHAOS USD value rises; I'll be selling the bulk of my CHAOS holdings. For now its a sit and wait.

What Is Chaos Legion?
Chaos Legion is a set of NFT's (cards) that are playable in the Hive Blockchain game known as Splinterlands. They can be traded on the in game marketplace and many secondary markets. Chaos Legion cards can be found in boosters packs in which contain 5 Chaos Legion NFT's (cards) each. Four common cards and one rare card are guaranteed to be found in each booster pack.
What Is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a blockchain game built on the Hive Network. The game itself utilizes NFT's for game play. These NFT's can be won in battle and/or purchased from the official Splinterlands marketplace or many other secondary markets. Game play rewards players with cryptocurrency and in game assets.
