The price of Rebellion Booster Packs have been holding up rather nicely on the secondary markets such as TribalDex. In fact I purchased a handful of packs from Splinterlands during the Rebellion presale; I sold those packs at somewhere just above the 10 HIVE mark just before General Sale kicked it in full gear. Today I went to TribalDex expecting to see a drop in cost but to my delightful surprise not only has the HIVE value of secondary Rebellion Packs held but I believe they might of increased ever so slightly. This is great news for the set as a whole as it shows the community interest in the set is strong but not so great news for me who wanted to purchase my packs back. As we see in the screenshot above the exact HIVE price of one Rebellion Pack is currently set at 10.59 (Buy order ) or 10.726 (Sell Order). Put in USD that would equal to a price of $3.77 - $3.82 (Rounded up to the highest cent).

Shared above is the volume of packs available for sale on the TribalDex site and also the volume of packs in which buys have been placed for. Taking a closer look we see that 1900 Packs would need to sell on the Sell Order side before we hit the 11 HIVE Trade value for Rebellion Packs. On the flip side of that just 141 Packs would need to sell on the Buy Order side for the new Buy Order low to be 10.1 HIVE. Of course these numbers are based on current volume placed on each side which is forever changing and adjusting. In reality its likely there will be some price adjustments on either side from the buyers and sellers as the day/weeks/months go on. In short and as the saying goes, Markets will Market. The trade volume found here on TribalDex is the same Trade volume that can be found on Hive-Engine and/or most other Hive Dex(s) that might have Rebellion Booster Packs available for trade.

If we were to look at the price of Rebellion packs from SPL the base price is 5000 DEC or 5000 Credits which is equal to $5 USD. Considering todays Fiat value of the HIVE Token is roughly $0.36 USD that would mean a total cost of roughly 14 HIVE per pack. This calculation is using the highest price point. We can also calculate another possibly more fair way. Splinterlands offers a 20% discount on packs purchased when Vouchers are used (one per pack purchased). For most this will bring the cost of purchased Rebellion Packs down to $4.00 USD + One Voucher or Just over 11 Hive Tokens + One Voucher. If you don't have any Vouchers they can also be purchased on TribalDex and many other Hive Dex's. Currently a voucher is trading for the value of $0.033 USD or 0.093 Hive Tokens. Links to purchase Vouchers and/or Rebellion Booster Packs will be left below. Keep in mind Vouchers do not give any discount when purchasing from secondary markets. To add to that when purchasing from secondary markets you will not get credit for any ongoing or future airdrops the Splinterlands team offers to those purchasing directly from them.

What Are Rebellion Packs?

Rebellion Booster Packs are Splinterland assets that hold five cards (NFT's) that are playable in-game. Out of these five NFT's one is guaranteed to be a rare or better. These and other NFT's are tradable within the official Splinterlands site and on many secondary markets. Cards can be used to win rewards in tournaments and ranked play or staked on land to earn SPS and Grain. There is also a rental market where cards can be listed for rent.
