Rebellion: RentMoney's Rundown (Splinterlands)

Some days ago the Splinterlands team released details about the new card set that will soon be available for purchase. There is allot of information to unpack in the above URL but I'll give some bullet points for those who don't want to read in detail. Listed in no particular order.

• Pre-sale for rebellion will start on Wednesday, October 18th, at 2:00 PM ET / 18:00 UTC

• Pre-sale ends in 30 days or when pre-sale packs are sold out

• Rebellion Pack Supply: 9.5 million packs (Daily burn in place)

• 500,000 packs available during pre-sale

• Rebellion booster packs purchased during the presale will not be able to be opened until the Rebellion set is released but can be transferred and traded on various markets

• The top six accounts with the most total Rebellion booster packs purchased through the Splinterlands shop during the presale phase will win the opportunity to participate in the design of a Legendary Summoner card

• Additional Presale Leaderboard Prizes: Top 250 purchasers win titles

• The pricing of the pre-sale packs will be the same as during the general sale

• Booster Pack Daily Burn Details: if fewer than 25,000 (25k) Rebellion booster packs are sold on any given day, the remainder of the booster packs (up to 25k total) will be removed from the sale pool. This will ensure the Rebellion set sells out within that *One Year Mark. This starts with general sale and doesn't apply during pre-sale.

• Base Price of booster packs: 5000 Credits or 5000 DEC

• Vouchers can be used to reduce price by 200 DEC per Voucher (up to 20% discount)

• Bonus packs for bulk purchases reduced to: 100 (5%) 500 (10%) 2000 (15%)

• There will be Presale Limited Edition Promo Cards (these limited edition promo cards will not be included in booster packs)

• New Abilities: Armored Strike, Corrosive Ward, Flank, Lookout

• Multi-Element Summoners & Summoner Tactics

• New airdrop system that requires users to stake packs or cards and make claims

• When the Rebellion set is released the Untamed set - including Azmare Dice and all related reward and promo cards - will no longer be allowed in Modern format battles

• Packs will contain five NFT's with one guaranteed to be a rare

Additional Pre-Sale Title Information

Position 1 - 30 - "The Dawnbringer" Legendary Title
Position 31 - 100 - "The Defiant" Epic Title
Position 101 - 250 - "The Rebel" Rare Title

There is allot more details in the announcement post (New ability details, images and much much more) so I do recommend you read it in full but if not the above should give you a good idea on how to get prepared for the next installment of NFT's offered by the Splinterlands game. The best news in all of this is that Splinterlands has made the boosters packs price reasonable. This will hopefully attract more (New?) players to participate in the sale/game. At most a purchaser will be paying $5 USD per booster pack. 20% less if they decide to use Vouchers to decrease their cost. Pay with DEC and possibly get further discounts (dependent on USD value of DEC at time of purchase). Over-all everyone and anyone should be able to participate in this sale if they so choose to.
