Hello, Splinterlands Community !

Today, we are going to talk about a battle of one of my most favorite card in Splinterlands. This card is one of the starter pack and having this card is a really great advantage in the battle. And this card is the TENYII STRIKER. I know that I talked about it many times, but it never have it own feature post. That is the reason why I chose this card to be the card battle feature of the week.

So without any further delay, LETS START THE BATTLE

THE BATTLE LINE UP

BATTLE STRATEGY: For this battle, my strategy is to use force to win the battle. I plan to elevate the attacks of my monsters in the field and eliminate the strongest monster of the opponent by attacking it from the back.

TARSA	+1 MELEE ATTACK, +1 HEALTH	-

The summoner that I choose for this battle is Tarsa. TARSA is a Rare Fire Summoner. It has ability to increase by 1 the melee attack and the life of other Fire monsters in the field. This summoner is perfect to use against summoners that reduces the life of your monsters. Also, this summoner is great to elevate the attacks of your monsters. This summoner is perfect for my strategy because this summoner will be the reason of elevation of my offensive state. This is also perfect alongside with Tenyii Striker because it can elevate more the attack and life of that monster. Also, that monster has already high health and by increasing it more, its existence in the game will definitely last in the battle. The only issue for this summoner is its mana needed. Four mana is a somehow a big mana. That could limit your monster picking.

LIVING LAVA	SHIELD	3 MELEE ATTACK, 1 SPEED, 2 SHIELDS, AND 6 HEALTH

The tank that I choose for this battle is Living Lava. LIVING LAVA is a Rare Fire Monster with Shield ability. Monsters with this kind of ability reduces the melee and range attack damage made by the opponent. Mostly, their attacks are turn into halves. This card has 3 melee attacks, 1 speed, 2 shields, and 6 lives. By looking at its overall characteristics, we can say that this card is the perfect tank for the Fire unit. Its ability and strength is lethal and destructive. This monster is perfect alongside with Tenyii Striker because Tenyii really needs protection in order to maximize its ability. With that, this tank will be enough to protect Tenyii Striker from the damages and also enough to prevent it from placing in the first position. The only downside of this monster is its speed. It has very low speed, meaning, it cannot avoid any attacks made by the opponent. To make this card more valuable, increasing the speed of this card is highly recommended.

TENYII STRIKER	SNEAK	2 MELEE ATTACKS, 2 SPEED, and 6 HEALTH

For the second and last position, I think it will be better if I use monster that can eliminate back position monsters. With that, I decided to use Tenyii Striker. TENYII STRIKER is a Rare Fire Monster with Sneak ability. Monsters with this kind of ability attacks the monsters of the opponent in the back position. This is vital for the game since most of the players place their strongest monster in the back. Eliminating the strongest monster first is a good strategy to ruin their offense. Also, this monster has 2 melee attacks, 2 speeds, and 6 lives. By evaluating the characteristics of this monster, we can say that it has a major role in the battle due to its different way of attack. This could be a great asset in the game. This monster is perfect for its position in order to maximize its ability. It can also help it on creating massive damage towards the opponent.

As this monster continue to level up, it gains additional stats and and abilities that is vital in the game. In the fourth level of this monster, it gains additional ability that is called Dodge. Monsters with Dodge ability has increase chance of evading melee and range attacks. At this level, this monster has 3 melee attacks, 3 speed*, and 6 lives. On this level, this monster needs 25 BCX.

At level 7, this monster gains new ability called Backfire. Monster with this kind of ability creates two damage if ever the attacker misses it attack on this card. At this level, this monster has 4 melee attacks, 4 speed, and 7 lives. At this level, this card needs 85 BCX.

THE BATTLE

At the beginning of the battle, both summoners contest their abilities. My monsters got additional melee attack and life but the it neglected by the summoner of my opponent as it reduces the life of my monsters. Both summoners showed their skills, but who will rise above?

On the first round, both sides exchanges attacks. Living Lava try to resist all the attacks to protect Tenyii Striker and Tenyii Striker starts to eliminate the back position monsters and it succeeds. But also, the opponent did their best and that creates damages towards my monsters.

On the second round, the battle continues and my strategy started to work very well. Tenyii Striker eliminates the magic attacker of the opponent and my tank tries to create an attack but it failed due to its speed. The tank of my opponent attacks and that reduces the life of my first position monster, drastically

On the third round, it becomes more intense. The life of my tank is at stake and one attack, it will be eliminated in the game. The exchange of attacks continue and Tenyii Striker attacks Cursed Windeku and that lives two damages in the life of Tenyii. Next, Living Lava attacks and that causes the elimination of both tanks. At the end, it is Tenyii Striker is the only card left in battlefield.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORKS?

Yes, my strategy works a lot. It started killing monsters from behind and it eliminates most of the monsters. In term of the defense, my first position monster resist almost all of the attacks to make sure that Tenyii Striker will live longer.

DO YOU LIKE TENYII STRIKER?

Yes, I do really like the Tenyii Striker. It is my most favorite card and it is so powerful. I believe that this card could be better by some improvement and in terms of its ability, I am really satisfied on it.
