ABOUT THE CARD:

Gem Meteor is a Medium Mana (5 Mana) Neutral Monster Epic Card from the Chaos Legion Edition. This means you can get one by opening chaos packs and using it in both Wild and Modern leagues. At level 1 he has the skill Scattershot which makes his attack hit a random enemy. This skill is a box of surprises, at the same time that it can make the monster hit the weaker opponent, it can make the attack go on the tank. At level 5, you unlock Piercing by making your attack bypass enemy defenses.

I used him at level 1, because he already has good stats, 5 HP, 1 ATK range and 4 speed. In medium mana battles (20s) his stats help a lot, making him dodge many sneak attacks.


THE PRICE

Gem Meteor is a good card for mid-mana battles when you need protection in the background, or have a range attack buff. In this section we'll talk about its price so you can think about whether it's a good opportunity for you.



Let's start talking about the potential that this card has to increase in price. You can see that only 91k were printed and only 1/3 is in circulation. With that, it already has a good demand coming from the current player base. So when people start to combine to reach a higher level, less will be available, driving up your price. ⬆️

The price of cards in general has dropped these last few days and the price of Gem Meteor has not been different. With the fiery change of splinterlands from more play than earn investors are slowly leaving the game. Another factor is the prolonged bear market and the effects of the ftx decline. So, if you're interested in this letter maybe it's a good time to acquire it, but if you think there will be more evictions, wait a little longer. A regular card is $0.45, while a gold card is $4.28. Remembering that GF has the starting bonuses. 😀

LORE:

When the cosmos was borne into creation and the stars were placed into the heavens, everything had its place and travellers crossed the known worlds by the shapes they had joined together in the sky. As centuries passed, some of these stars were destroyed, either striking other objects or simply their light dying away, obliterated into tiny pieces. Meteors lit up the night for evermore, tracing lines in the blackness as they shot through the sky.

🤔 STRATEGY 🤔

The strategy for this match was to divide the attack into several points. Uraeus attacks the backline, lava spider attacks ranged or mages, Gem Meteor attacks randomly. Then the Serpentine Spy will finish off the enemies.

⚔️ THE LINEUP ⚔️


Summoner: Tarsa

A 4 mana fire summoner, Tarsa is a Chaos edition card, which has the ability to increase the attack and hp of allies by +1. She is very important in this lineup, as she will increase the team's melee damage and still help ranged with +1 hp.



1º Tusk the Wide (Tank)

One of my favorite fire element tanks is Tusk the wide, because he solves one of the problems of fire that is weak against magic, as he has Void that halves magic damage and still has a lot of hp.< /p>


2º Scorch Fiend (Off-Tank)

The Scorch Fiend is that card that serves to tank one of damage. You can use it in second position as an off-tank or in last position to defend against sneak attacks.



3º Uraeus (DPS)

Uraeus is my choice in third position because he can take 1 hit more than serpentine. This is one of the favorite cards, due to its versatility to fit in any deck that has sneak.



4º Serpentine Spy (DPS)

The Serpentine Spy in this lineup is my finisher. His ability Opportunity makes him attack the lowest HP monster, finishing it. Thus, as the composition attacks in several positions, he will finish.



5º Lava Spider (DPS)

The Lava Spider with its sniper ability will attack mage and ranged monsters after the tank.



6º Gem Meteor (DPS)

The Meteor Gem was placed in the backline, as it has a lot of hp, so it will be able to tank some hits from sneak monsters and also with its high speed (4), it will dodge some of these attacks.

👊 THE BATTLE 👊



ROUND 1


That first round was slow in the sense that neither side lost a monster. It can already be seen that the enemy is at a numerical disadvantage, while I have 6 monsters, he only has 4. Still, one of his monsters doesn't attack, he's just tanking in the background.


ROUND 2


In the second round I managed to eliminate two of the opponent's monsters, the Scavo Chemist that was in the backline and the Lava spider. So there are only 2 monsters left on the enemy side.


ROUND 3


In the third round both tanks were defeated. Thus, the off-tank Fiend took over the responsibility of tanking and the Lava launcher was the only one left.


ROUND 4


Finally in the fourth and final round Lava Launcher defeated my Fiend and I managed to defeat him.


CONCLUSION🤔


In this battle the difference in the number of monsters between the lineups made a lot of difference, while my team had all 6 slots filled the enemy only had 4. The strategy of using the Serpentine Spy to finish the monsters with little hp after the attack scattered worked fine.

Finally, about Gem Meteor, I thought he played the role of backline well, withstood a lot of hits from the opponent and even managed to dodge one of them.

SOBRE A CARTA:

Gem Meteor é uma carta épica de mana média (5 mana) monstro Neutro da edição Chaos Legion. Isso significa que você pode obter um ao abrir os pacotes chaos e usá-lo nas ligas Wild e Modern. No nível 1 tem a habilidade Scattershot que faz com que seu ataque atinja um inimigo aleatório. Essa habilidade é uma caixa de surpresas, ao mesmo tempo que pode fazer o monstro atingir o oponente mais fraco, pode fazer o ataque ir no tank. No nível 5, desbloqueia Piercing fazendo o seu ataque ultrapassar as defesas inimigas.

Eu o usei no nível 1, porque ele já tem bons status, 5 HP, 1 ATK range e 4 speed. Em batalhas de mana média (20s) suas estatísticas ajudam muito, o fazendo desviar de muitos ataques sneak.

Gem Meteor é uma boa carta para batalhas de mana média quando você precisa de uma proteção no fundo, ou tem como buffar range ataque. Nesta seção falaremos sobre seu preço para que você possa pensar se é uma boa oportunidade para você.



Vamos começar falando sobre o potencial que esta carta tem para aumentar de preço. Você pode ver que apenas 91k foram impressos e apenas 1/3 está em circulação. Com isso, já tem uma boa demanda vinda da base de jogadores atual. Assim, quando as pessoas começarem a combinarem para atingir um nível mais alto, menos estará disponível, elevando seu preço. ⬆️

O preço das cartas em geral tem caído nesses útlimos dias e o preço do Gem Meteor não tem sido diferente. Com a mudança de fogo do splinterlands de mais play do que earn os investidores estão deixando aos poucos o jogo. Outro fator é o bear market prolongado e os efeitos da queda da ftx. Então, se você tiver interesse nessa carta talvez seja uma boa hora de adquirí-la, mas se acha que ainda haverá mais despejo aguarde mais um pouco. Uma carta normal está $0,45, enquanto uma gold está saindo $4,28. Lembrando que GF, tem os bonus de partida. 😀

🤔 ESTRATÉGIA 🤔

A estratégia para essa partida foi dividir o ataque em vários pontos. Uraeus ataca a backline, lava spider ataca os ranged ou mages, Gem Meteor ataca aleatóriamente. Depois o Serpentine Spy vai finalizar os inimigos.

⚔️ A LINEUP ⚔️


Summoner: Tarsa

A summoner de fogo de 4 mana, Tarsa é uma carta da edição Chaos, que tem como habilidade aumentar o ataque e hp dos aliados em +1. Ela é muito importante nessa lineup, pois ela vai aumentar o dano melee do time e ainda ajudar os rangeds com +1 hp.



1º Tusk the Wide (Tank)

Um dos meus tanks favoritos do elemento fogo é o Tusk the wide, pois ele resolve um dos problemas do fire que é fraco contra magia, pois ele tem o Void que diminui o dano mágico pela metade e ainda tem muito hp.



2º Scorch Fiend (Off-Tank)

O Scorch Fiend é aquela carta que serve para tankar um de dano. Você pode usar ela na segunda posição como um off-tank ou na última posição para defender de ataques sneak.



3º Uraeus (DPS)

Uraeus é minha escolha a terceira posição, pois ele consegue aguentar 1 hit a mais do que o serpentine. Essa é uma das cartas favoritas, pela sua versatilidade de encaixar em qualquer deck que tenha sneak.



4º Serpentine Spy (DPS)

O Serpentine Spy nessa lineup é o meu finalizador. Sua habilidade Opportunity, faz ele atacar o mostro de menor HP, finalizando-o. Assim, como a composição dá ataque em várias posições ele vai finalizar.



5º Lava Spider (DPS)

O Lava Spider com sua habilidade sniper vai atacar os monstro mage e ranged após o tank.



6º Gem Meteor (DPS)

O Gem Meteor foi colocado na backline, pois possui bastante hp, então vai conseguir tankar alguns hits de sneak monsters e também com sua alta velocidade (4), vai desviar de alguns desses ataques.

👊 A BATALHA 👊



ROUND 1


Esse primeiro round foi lento no sentido de que nenhum dos lados perdeu um monstro. Nele já se pode observar que o inimigo está em disvantagem numérica, enquanto eu tenho 6 monstros, ele tem apenas 4. Ainda, um de seus monstros não ataca, está apenas tankando no fundo.


ROUND 2


No segundo turno consegui já eliminar dois monstros do oponente, o Scavo Chemist que estava na backline o Lava spider. Assim sobrou apenas 2 monstros do lado inimigo.


ROUND 3


No terceiro round ambos os tanks foram derrotados. Assim, o Fiend off-tank assumiu a responsabilidade de tankar e o Lava launcher foi o único que sobrou.


ROUND 4


Por fim no quarto e último round o Lava Launcher derrotou meu Fiend e eu consegui derrotá-lo.


CONCLUSÃO🤔


Nessa batalha a diferença no número de monstros entre as lineups fez muita diferença, enquanto meu time tinha todos os 6 slots preenchidos o inimigo só tinha 4. A estratégia de usar o Serpentine Spy para finalizar os monstros com pouco hp depois do ataque disperso funcionou bem.

Por fim, sobre o Gem Meteor, achei que ele fez o papel de backline bem, suportou bastantes hits do oponente e ainda conseguiu desviar de um deles.
