How I met Splinterlands and future Achievements. [Esp/Eng]

Bienvenidos a una nueva publicación inspirada en Splinterlands y con la cual pienso participar en el Social Media Challenge.
Para esta oportunidad nos piden que contemos sobre como conocimos splinterlands y la manera en como nos proyectamos a futuro dentro del juego.
Sí, ya vienes dando seguimiento a mis post, pueda que ya conozca como fue que llegue al juego, pero, quiero pensar que un nuevo usuario está leyendo mi post y quiero inspirarte, así como alguien lo hizo conmigo alguna vez.

Welcome to a new post inspired by Splinterlands and with which I plan to participate in the Social Media Challenge.
For this opportunity we are asked to tell about how we got to know splinterlands and how we project ourselves into the future of the game.
Yes, you have been following my posts, you may already know how I got into the game, but, I want to think that a new user is reading my post and I want to inspire you, as someone did with me once.

Bien, quiero contarte que conocí a splinterlands por medio de una presentación que hizo un usuario que integraba una comunidad conocida por su nombre "De Centavos a Millones".
Tuve la fortuna de haber participado el día de su ponencia y escuchar algunas de las formas que tenía Splinterlands para participar.
El precio del libro de hechizos para aquel entonces era de 10 $ USD y había una cantidad de maneras de comprarlo para iniciar el juego.
Esto se sigue manteniendo aún en la actualidad.
El punto es que tome el riesgo de invertir esos 10 $ y lo hice pensando que quizás no volvería a ver esos 10 $. Para mi suerte pude recuperar eso y obtener ganancia en un aproximado de 4-5 meses.

Well, I want to tell you that I met splinterlands through a presentation made by a user who was part of a community known by its name "From Pennies to Millions".
I was fortunate to have participated the day of his presentation and to hear some of the ways Splinterlands had to participate.
The price of the spell book back then was $10 USD and there were a number of ways to purchase it to start the game.
This still holds true today.
The point is that I took the risk of investing that $10 and did so thinking that I might never see that $10 again. To my luck I was able to recoup that and make a profit in about 4-5 months.
Unbelievable, isn't it?

En splinterlands tengo al rededor de casi tres años y desde entonces he procurado ir acumulando cartas poco a poco. Esto ya sea por medio de la obtención en los cofres de recompensas o pasando al mercado a comprar cartas. Mis favoritas son las doradas, por supuesto, aunque algunas ya se ponen algo costosas.
El año pasado decidí comprar algunos Packs y en uno de esos me vino una carta legendaria que para aquel entonces tenía un valor de 5 $.
Realmente la carta no me era nada útil, así que la vendí y compre cartas de forma individual. Recuerdo que con la venta de esa carta recupere lo que había invertido en el pack, así que no me fue tan mal.

In splinterlands I have about three years and since then I have tried to accumulate cards little by little. This is either by getting them in the reward chests or by going to the market to buy cards. My favorites are the gold ones, of course, although some of them already get a bit pricey.
Last year I decided to buy some Packs and in one of those I got a legendary card which at the time was worth $5.
The card wasn't really useful to me, so I sold it and bought cards individually. I remember that with the sale of that card I recovered what I had invested in the pack, so it was not so bad.

Mi objetivo es seguir adquiriendo nuevas cartas y tratar de comprar algunos otros packs para apostar a la suerte de que algún día me salga esa Legendaria que tanto deseo, pero que no te revelaré más de ella.
Actualmente, he sido para nada disciplinada con el juego. Antes era más comprometido y fanática de pasar horas jugando, no digo que ahora no lo sea porque realmente me gusta envolverme en este mundo, solo que por cuestiones de tiempo y que a veces el internet no ayudaba había perdido un poco la constancia. Sin embargo, ya estoy trabajando en eso porque mi meta es subir de liga y justo me estoy preparando para eso porque quiero llegar a plata y una vez estando allí quiero prepararme para subir a oro y así volverme la rival favorita de mis amigos @bulkathos y @cpol que son tremendos jugadores y también fanáticos de splinterlands.

My goal is to keep acquiring new cards and try to buy some other packs to bet on the luck that someday I will get that Legendary I want so much, but I won't reveal more of it to you.
Currently, I have been not disciplined at all with the game. Before I was more committed and fanatic to spend hours playing, I'm not saying that now I'm not because I really like to get involved in this world, just that due to time issues and that sometimes the internet didn't help I had lost a little bit the constancy. However, I'm already working on that because my goal is to move up the league and I'm just preparing for that because I want to reach silver and once I'm there I want to prepare to move up to gold and thus become the favorite rival of my friends @bulkathos and @cpol who are tremendous players and also splinterlands fans.

Recientemente hubo una actualización donde retiraron una versión de cartas y esto me ha costado bastante porque estaba muy acostumbrada a jugar con ellas y ha causado que baje desde BRONCE I donde estaba hasta NOVATO.
Imaginen, novato? de nuevo novato? años que no llegaba a novato.
Ya estoy agarrando el ritmo y voy subiendo de nuevo aunque aun tengo más partidas perdidas que ganadas.
Por lo pronto seguiré preparándome en esto para lograr llegar a plata y también porque me gustaría participar en varios torneos para enfrentarme con grandes jugadores. No se, es un sueño loco y que voy a hacer realidad.

Recently there was an update where they removed a version of cards and this has cost me a lot because I was very used to play with them and it has caused me to go down from BRONZE I where I was to NOVATO.
Imagine, newbie? newbie again? it's been years since I was a newbie.
Now I'm catching the rhythm and I'm going up again although I still have more games lost than won.
For the time being I will continue preparing myself to reach silver and also because I would like to participate in several tournaments to face great players. I don't know, it's a crazy dream and I'm going to make it come true.
