# New year and New hopes - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 113 Report Card

Hello, Splinterlands Warriors. Splinterlands' inaugural season in 2024 has concluded. Hopefully, your asset acquisition in the early 2024 season will go better.
As usual, in this post, I will evaluate my performance during the recently concluded season. We must also assess our performance to track our progress and determine the best strategy for the upcoming season.

Last season, I ranked 468th in modern battle mode, with a final rating of 1543 (silver II). This left me struggling from bronze III at the beginning of the season. However, in the 113th season, my ranking improved to 315th, or in Silver I, with a final rating of 1636. This allowed me to begin the season in Silver I. My win/loss ratio was 0.78 last season, which increased to 0.84 in the 113th season. Of course, this was a solid accomplishment last season.

In general, my card received has increased since the previous season, when I collected 49 cards, and in the 113th season, I managed to get 64 cards.
Despite the decrease in the number of end-of-season chests, daily mission chests produce more cards than potions and SPS. The number of cards in the end-of-season chest also affects the likelihood of obtaining good cards, particularly summoner cards.
Here's a look at the results of the season-ending chest.
Meanwhile, SPS acquisitions decreased from the previous season. and Merits acquisition rose from 55 to 402. The total ranked play earnings for the season were 87,905 SPS.

My goal of reducing card rental costs was not met. At season 113, I still spent 126,146 DEC renting cards that I did not yet own. and it appears to be comparable to the SPS gain that I obtained before converting to DEC.
It looks like I'll be spending more DEC next season to rent a few more cards for my combat team.

During this season, I received 198,901 SPS. There are also 5,023 vouchers. This is a decrease from the previous season's 232,926 SPS. Hopefully, next season's results will improve.
