# New tastes in the Splinterlands - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 78 Report Card

Time seemed to speed up. The excitement of fighting and exploring all of Splinterlands' latest updates left me to write a progress report for my season after half new season. So, how about you? Does the latest Splinterlands update make you feel more at ease? Or the other way around?
I'm hoping that all of these new additions will make playing Splinterlands even more exciting.

Splinterlands debuted a new mode, known as modern and wild, last season. I choose to play in modern because it is the mode that fit with my collection. My collection's power in that mode led to a significant climb in the league. In modern, I am getting closer to the gold III league with the same number of cards.
And I made the proper choice. Although the competition in modern mode is fierce, I was able to achieve the highest possible rating of 2132. Even my win ratio is lower than it was last season, I'm still pleased to have made it to the gold league this time.

I received 48 cards as part of last season's rewards. For my luck, there were no gold or legendary cards among the 48 cards I received last season.
However, the number of other items I obtained increased significantly: specifically, the number of legendary potions and alchemy potions.
When I have a pack, I lack this. Whereas now, when I don't have a pack, I have a large number of potions. So, last season, I also received a two-pack gift, which I immediately opened to obtain a card.
I received a total of 3749 DEC and 11770 Credits from last season's prize.

I still need to rent a card to strengthen my collection. According to the data on card rentals, I spent 395 DEC during the season. I'm still making money from this while acquiring DEC to purchase the cards I'll need for combat.

The reported earnings for SPS are 312,695. The Splinterlands-hosted SPS airdrop has come to an end. However, people who have staked in SPS are still eligible for SPS airdrops and vouchers.
That concludes my progress during the last season. I was fortunate to come across this tool that allowed me to track my progress during the season and develop tactics for the following season.
