Kha'zi Fire Mage Fanart || Splinterlands Art Contest Week 274. (ENG/ESP)

Today I present my new art, a fanart for the weekly Splinterlands community contest.

For this occasion I used the fire type character of Kha'zi Fire Mage. This is a beautiful warrior who has amazing gloves with a dragon head shape where they line her forearms and we also see that they cover some of her hands, from which we see that she generates glowing fireballs. I liked using a low exposure theme so that each color could stand out better. I used a more furious expression and a pose where you can see how the power of his energy blows his hair and ribbons that he wears on his forehead. I also used a pen to outline the contours and colored pencils to color the drawing.

This drawing was very entertaining to do. Below you can see the procedure of this drawing, enjoy.

Step by step:

I started by making a sketch. You won't believe it, but starting this drawing was a bit complicated, I had to try three different sheet formats and I didn't feel comfortable, in the end I used a square of paper from a drawing pad and finally I was able to finish my sketch to my liking. For the sketch I only used a 2H pencil and then I defined this sketch with a 2B pencil.

With a ballpoint pen I outlined the lines and made the first borders of the drawing, later I would improve this, giving it more strength.

For the skin I used the flesh color as base color and with the brick red color I made its shadows, I used the ocher color to give it some vivacity in some light parts and with the dark brown color I finished shading much darker areas of the skin. For the hair I used light gray as a base color, followed the shading with a dark gray color and finished by making the darkest shadows with black color.

The ribbons on her forehead and waist I drew them with the red color and some dark orange and added shadows with the brick red. For the upper part of her dress I used Violet color and from the center I was giving shadows outwards first with navy blue, dark blue and finally with midnight blue color, but this almost totally concentrated in the middle, the yellow buttons I drew them with yellow and dark orange for their shadows. For her half skirt I used navy blue as the base color and created a volume between the pleats with dark blue and midnight blue. And to finish the dress, I drew the pants with light gray as the base color and just as with the semi-skirt I created volume and depth between the pleats that are made in the pants and finished it off with a black color, then softened this with a soft warm gray and white.

With a yellow, dark yellow, orange, dark orange and red color I made the fireballs. With the yellow color I bordered the arms, some fabric and a small part of the tresses to make this reflection of the flame light.

And to finish I made a background with some stripes of aggressive orange or dark orange energy, and from bottom to top I used the black color from higher to lower intensity giving a little highlight to the body of the character, then with the dark orange color I was drawing from top to bottom with the same intensity giving this blurred effect that I had created with the black. Now I realize how great it looks.

Hola amigos de Hive, bienvenidos a un nuevo post! Espero que se encuentren súper súper bien y que tengan un maravilloso día<3.

El día de hoy presento mi nuevo arte, un fanart para el concurso semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands.

Para esta ocasión usé el personaje de tipo fuego de Kha'zi Fire Mage. Esta es una bella guerrera que tiene unos increíbles guantes con una forma de cabeza de dragón donde forran sus antebrazos y también vemos que recubren algo de sus manos, de las cuales vemos que genera unas brillantes bolas de fuego. Quise usar un tema de baja exposición para que cada color resalta de mejor manera. Yo usé una expresión más furiosa y una pose donde se ve cómo el poder de su energía hace volar su cabello y cintas que lleva en la frente. También usé un bolígrafo para delinear los contornos y lápices de colores para colorear el dibujo.

Este dibujo fue muy entretenido de hacer. A continuación podrán ver el procedimiento de este dibujo, disfrútenlo.

Paso a paso:

Empecé haciendo un boceto. No lo creerían, pero empezar este dibujo fue algo complicado, tuve que probar hasta tres formatos de hojas diferentes y no me sentía cómodo, a la final usé un recuadro de papel de un block de dibujo y por fin pude terminar mi boceto a gusto. Para el boceto solo usé un lápiz 2H y después definí este boceto con un lápiz 2B.

Con un bolígrafo remarqué las líneas e hice los primeros bordeados del dibujo, más adelante mejoraría ésto, dándole más fuerza.

Para la piel usé el color carne como color base y con el color rojo ladrillo hice sus sombras, usé el color ocre para darle algo de vivacidad en algunas partes claras u con el color marrón oscuro termine de sombrear zonas mucho las oscuras de la piel. Para el cabello usé de color base el color gris claro, seguí el sombreado con un color gris oscuro y termine por hacer las sombras más oscuras con el color negro.

Las cintas de su frente y cintura las dibujé con el color rojo y algo de naranja oscuro y añadí sombras con el rojo ladrillo. Para la parte superior de su vestimenta usé el color Violeta y desde el centro iba dando sombras hacía afuera primero con el color azul marino, azul oscuro y por último con el color azul noche, pero este casi totalmente concentrado en el medio, los botones amarillos los dibujé con amarillo y naranja oscuro para sus sombras. Para su semifalda usé el color azul marino como color base y cree un volumen entre los pliegues con azul oscuro y azul noche. Y para terminar la vestimenta, dibujé el pantalón con el color gris claro como color base y así mismo como con la semifalda cree volumen y profundidad entre los pliegues que se hacen en el pantalón y remate con un color negro, después suavice esto con un color gris cálido suave y blanco.

Con un color amarillo, amarillo oscuro, naranja, naranja oscuro y rojo hice las bolas de fuego. Con el color amarillo bordee los brazos, algo de tela y una pequeña parte de los mechones para hacer éste reflejo de la luz de la llama.

Y para terminar hice un fondo con algunas rayas de energía agresiva de color naranja o naranja oscuro, y desde abajo hacia arriba usé el color negro de mayor a menor intensidad dándole un poco de resalte al cuerpo del personaje, después con el color naranja oscuro fui dibujando de arriba para abajo con la misma intensidad dando este efecto de difuminado que había creado con el negro. Ahora me doy cuenta lo genial que se ve.
