Raa, this is a devilish skull man, he has one hell of a look and a pair of awesome chains. This was my inspiration for the weekly Splinterlands community contest. For this drawing I used a new technique, which I hadn't done before, I just used my black ink markers. Below I show you how I made this drawing.

When Dream Ryder traveled to the underworld to become the Supreme Lord of Dreams and rule the Five Realms of Mortis Deep, he almost forgot his former life as a desert warrior. However, everything changed when his old friend and companion, Raa, found his way to the underworld through the hidden gate on the western slopes of Bren-Ha.

Process:

Looking for a couple of skull references, I wanted to do the position drawing in front, and in the back I gregated part of the chains it carries. For this I used an HB pencil.

Now with the 0.5 eyeliner I outlined the whole drawing. Then I erased the pencil from the sketch with an eraser.

Then for the darker parts of the shadows, what I did was to thicken the lines and fill several parts completely with marker. For this I used markers number 0.8, 20(this one has a chisel type tip, it's pretty good) and the "BR" marker(this would be a normal fine marker, with a brush tip type, so to speak).

And to finish, use eyeliner number 0.3 and 0.5 to create fill in lighter parts of the drawing by drawing many lines, making what is called "hatching". For the darker shadows I used the 0.3 eyeliner and I drew many lines together (this to create an effect of more fill and thus raise the contract in that area) and for the lighter areas I used the 0.5, I did the same but with the lines more separated.

And that was the result of my drawing, I really liked the process of making this drawing, and the drawing hahaha. I think I will implement this way of drawing in future creations. It was not tiring at all to make the drawing, it is a good technique that simplifies the realization of the drawing and also leaves a nice finish, if done well.

Raa, este es un hombre calavera diabólico, tiene una mirada infernal y un par de cadenas increíbles. Esta fue mi inspiración para el concurso semanal de la comunidad de Splinterlands. Para este dibujo estrene una nueva técnica, que no había hecho antes, utilice tan solo mis marcadores de tinta negra. Más adelante les muestro como realice este dibujo.

Cuando Dream Ryder viajó al inframundo para convertirse en el Señor Supremo de los Sueños y gobernar los Cinco Reinos de Mortis Deep, casi olvidó su vida anterior como guerrero del desierto. Sin embargo, todo cambió cuando su viejo amigo y compañero, Raa, encontró su camino hacia el inframundo a través de la puerta oculta en las laderas occidentales de Bren-Ha.

Proceso:

Busque un par de referencias de calaveras, quería hacer el dibujo de posición en frente, y atrás le gregue parte de las cadenas que lleva. Para esto use un lápiz HB.

Ahora con el delineador número 0.5 fui delineando todo el dibujo. Luego borre el lápiz del boceto con un borrador.

Luego para para las partes de las sombras más oscuras, lo que hice fue engruesar las líneas y llenar varias partes completamentes de marcador. Para esto utilice los marcadores número 0.8, 20(este tiene una punta tipo cincel, está bastante bueno) y el marcador "BR"(este sería un marcador normal fino, con un tipo de punta pincel, por así decirlo).

Y para terminar, utilice el delineador número 0.3 y 0.5 para crear relleno en partes más claras del dibujo trazando muchas líneas, hacien lo que es el "tramado". Para las sombras más oscuras use el delineador 0.3 y fui trazando muchas líneas juntas(esto para crear un efecto de mayor relleno y así elevar el contrataste en esa zona) y para las zonas más claras utilice el 0.5, hice lo mismo pero con las lineas más separadas.

Y ese fue el resultado de mi dibujo, me gustó mucho el proceso de realizar este dibujo, y el dibujo jajaja. Creo que implementare está forma de hacer los dibujos en próximas creaciones. No fue nada cansador de hacer el dibujo, es una buena técnica que te simplifica la realización del dibujo y además le deja un bonito acabado, si se hace bien.
