This time, I will share my strategy and the battles of this week in Back to Basics rule.

Approach:

This time, we explore the Back to Basics rule, where the strategic theory revolves around selecting a potent Summoner and aiming for victory through the Summoner's abilities. Given that the opponent employed arguably the strongest Summoner, it was indeed a formidable challenge. With the rule restricting the choice to Melee units only, I devised a strategy of assembling Melee units complemented by others with diverse attack types.

Practical Example:

CRUEL SETHROPOD:

Despite its low cost, it boasts decent performance. I use the Gold Foil (GF) version, considering its cost-effectiveness.

HARDY STONEFISH:

Similar to the approach with MYCELIC MORPHOID, I strategically placed it in the front row as part of the unit count.

TORRENT FIEND:

This unit was included on the principle that having it might be better than not. Placed strategically to balance the lineup.

VENATOR KINJO:

Another inclusion for strategic reasons.

AGOR LONGTAIL:

This unit shone the most with its high toughness and magical attacks, proving to be the most valuable despite being the costliest card.

DRYBONE RAIDER:

A crucial card capable of Ranged attacks in a Melee-only battle. Its versatility made it indispensable.

The opponent's formidable healing capabilities made it a closely contested match, but luck favored me, leading to a hard-earned victory.

考え方
今回はBack to Basicsのルールですが、強力なサモナーを選択して、サモナーのアビリティによる勝利を目指す戦略がセオリーだと思います。今回は相手が正に最強のサモナーを使ってきているので、セオリー通りに強い相手でした。そしてMeleeのみが選択可能なルールだったので、私はMeleeと他の攻撃を持っているカードを編成する戦略にしました。

実践例

CRUEL SETHROPOD:
低コストですがまずまずの性能で、単価が安いカードなのでGFを使っています。

HARDY STONEFISH:
こちらも同様です。前衛は数合わせで配置しています。

TORRENT FIEND:
こちらもいないよりは置いておいた方がよいだろうということで配置しています。

VENATOR KINJO:
こちらも同じです。

AGOR LONGTAIL:
高いタフネスと魔法攻撃で一番活躍しました。最もコストの高いカードですが、十分な活躍をしました。

DRYBONE RAIDER:
こちらもMeleeのみのバトルでRanged攻撃ができる貴重なカードです。

相手も恐ろしい回復力のため接戦となりましたが、運が味方してくれて勝つことができました。
