This theme is a difficult one. What to say. Hmmm...
I guess I've known Splinterlands since I was playing Axie.
Maybe I saw someone on Twitter recommending it.

今回のテーマは難しいね。何を言えばいいか。んー
Splinterlandsを知ったのはAxieやってた頃からかな？
多分Twitterで誰かがお勧めしてるのを見たんだと思う。

I started Splinterlands around July 2021. Maybe around the time Axie went downhill? Maybe around the time I stopped breeding because of the need for AXS for breeding, increased costs, and mutations changing the genes?

私がSplinterlandsを始めたのは2021年の7月ごろ。たぶん、Axieが下火になったくらい？ブリードにAXSが必要だったり、コストが上がったり、突然変異がで遺伝子が変わるようになったりしてブリードやめたころじゃないかな？

I happened to see this game on Twitter and started looking into it because it was the type of game I liked a lot. I love card games, and I had played Magic: The Gathering before.

たまたまTwitterで見かけたこのゲームを調べてみると、すごい好きなタイプだったので始めたんだよね。カードゲームは大好きでMagic:The Gatheringをやってたこともあったし。

The parts that I particularly liked as a result of my research are these.
・Automatic combat, so battles don't take too long.
・You can get tokens and expensive NFT (cards) as rewards for battles.
(I later found out that I was a little mistaken.)
If you start now, you can make a lot of money, right? I remember thinking, "I've got to get started now.

調べた結果とくに気に入った部分はこのあたり。
・自動戦闘でバトルに時間がかからない
・バトル報酬でトークンと高額なNFT(カード)が手に入る。
（後日ちょっと勘違いだったことが判明。）
といったところもすごく気になって、今始めたら結構稼げるんじゃない？って思ったような記憶がある。

At first, I thought, how am I going to make money? I heard that the Diamond League and the Champion League are great places to make money! I heard.
Back then, the leagues you could play in were determined by the total CP (Collection Power) of each card, so I thought it was impossible to play in the Diamond or Champion leagues. I was worried and worried and then I bought this.

最初、どうやって稼ごうかって考えて。ダイヤモンドリーグとかチャンピオンリーグはすごい稼げる！って聞いたんだけど。
あの頃はカード毎のCP(コレクションパワー)を合計してプレイできるリーグが決まっていたからダイヤやチャンピオンは無理やて...って思いつつ。悩んで悩んでこれ買いました。

First, I bought two gold-framed Legendaries to get the 100,000 CP that would get me to the Gold League. I bought Camila Sungazer and The Vigilator. The total price was about $1,300.
I think there is always a Summoner card, so I bought Camila Sungazer and The Vigilator, which is a strong monster for a reasonable price! Which one is it? Which one is it? I thought about it and chose this one.
And when I actually started, it was surprisingly difficult and I couldn't win.
I wondered which cards I needed and how I should play to win. I was doing a lot of trial and error at that time.

まずはゴールドリーグまで行ける100,000CPを手に入れるために金枠のレジェンダリーを2枚。買ったのは Camila Sungazer と The Vigilator 。価格は合計で $1,300 くらいだったかな。
たしか、サモナーカードってのが必ずいるから Camila Sungazer 、強いモンスターでそこそこの値段で済むやつ！ってどれや？これか？とか考えて選んだんだよね。
で、実際に始めたら意外と難しくって、なかなか勝てない。
どのカードが必要なのか、どういうプレイしたら勝てるのか。このころは色々試行錯誤してたね。

And then it was decided that SPS would be air-dropped. I don't know how that happened. I don't remember what it was, but if you staked, you got a lot?
I remember! Yes, if you owned a lot of cards and DECs, you would get more airdrops!
So I think I was doing something to increase airdrops by buying DECs.

で、そのうちSPSがエアドロされるってことになって。どうだったんだっけ。なんだか忘れたけど、ステークしたらたくさん貰えるんだっけ？
思い出した！そうだ、カードやDECを沢山保有したらエアドロップが増えるんだった！！
なので、DECを買ってエアドロップを増やすようになんかしてた気がする。

The leftmost line on the graph is 6/26/2021 and DEC is about $0.00093. The peak is 10/16/2021 at about $0.01568. It's a bubble, a bubble. Juliana is on the stage, and Ginza de Sii-Suu.

このグラフの一番左が 2021/6/26 で DECが $0.00093くらい。頂点が 2021/10/16 で $0.01568 くらい。もう、バブルですよバブル。ジュリアナでお立ち台で銀座でシース―ですよ。

Well, of course. The prices went down after that, as you can see in the graph, until now, but during this bubble period when the prices were rising, you could get a lot of SPS airdrops and earn a lot of money in rewards. Anyway, it was a very exciting time.
But why didn't I just make dollars at that time...

まぁ、もちろん。その後グラフの通り価格は下がっていって今に至るわけですが、このガンガン価格が上がっていたバブル時期にSPSのエアドロップがたくさん貰えるわ、報酬で沢山稼げるわ。とにかく盛り上がりましたね。
でも、なんで私はこの時にドルにしておかなかったのかと...

Since then, the virtual currency as a whole has cooled off and the prices of DEC and SPS have dropped, though they are not as vibrant as they were back then.
The game is evolving and improving and getting more interesting, Rebellion will be released in December, and Land 1.5 will be implemented in November as announced at the last Town Hall.
Things should start to pick up again!

その後、仮想通貨全体が冷え込んで行ったり、DEC、SPSの価格が下がっていったりであの頃ほどの活気はないけれども。
ゲームは進化し、改善されて行ってより面白くなっていってるし、12月にはRebellionが発売されるし、この前のTown Hallで発表されたようにランド1.5も11月に実装される。
これからまた活気が出るはず！

I like the game a lot, and the longer I've been playing, the more cards I have.
I've also joined a good guild and I'm really enjoying Splinterlands.
I want to keep playing for a long time. So I think we need to keep an eye on the management's policy and bring in newcomers in a good way. Any game won't last if there are no newcomers.

私はこのゲームがすごく好きだし、長く続けた分、カードも増えた。
それに、いいギルドにも参加出来てSplinterlandsをすごく楽しめてる。
このまま長く続けていきたい。なので、運営さんの方針を見つつ、うまく新人を取り込んでいかないと駄目だと思うんだよね。どんなゲームも新人さんが増えないと続かないし。

However, the environment is still difficult for newcomers to play and keep up. Even if you play the Modern Bronze League for the first time without paying, you will get beat up and quit because it's not fun.
First of all, I want people to feel the fun somehow. But if you play alone for the first time without paying, it's definitely not fun. Some people actually quit because of that.

といっても、今も環境は新人さんがプレイしてもづづけるのは難しい。普通に無課金で初めてモダンのブロンズリーグをプレイしてもボッコボコにされて面白くなくて辞めちゃうよね。
まずは何とか面白さを感じてほしい。でも、無課金で初めて一人でプレイしても絶対面白くない。実際にそれでやめちゃった人もいるし。

So my recommendation is to ask questions and learn from those who are playing. If you can join a guild, you may be able to ask questions to guild members and get answers to your questions, or borrow a card to try it out.

なのでお勧めはとにかくプレイしてる人にどんどん質問して教えてもらう事だね。ついでにギルドにも入れてもらえればギルドメンバーに質問して疑問を解決したり、カードを借りて試すこともできるかもしれない。
