Such regulations caused what is known as "(cookie) pop-up hell" on a lot of websites, especially those sites who use Content Management Systems (CMS). 🤯🤯🤓

People could just stop complying with all the stupid 'laws' that particular countries or States have at any particular time. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I assume that most (if not all) of the sites within the #Qortal network don't have such cookie notice pop-ups or similar !INDEED. 🤔🤓

No Qortal website uses cookies. Nothing on Qortal uses cookies. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Maybe the "cookie pop-ups" on (some) #Qortal sites simply say "this site does not use cookies" !INDEED! 🤔🤯😆

Other than transaction-confirmation popups, I've never seen any other sort of popup on Qortal. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That makes me assume that people having sites on #Qortal know that pop-ups are annoying !INDEED, so they know to avoid using them as much as possible. 🤔😎😏

Most of the annoying stuff on the regular web2 internet is not present on Qortal. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Your comment there made me curious !INDEED about the few "annoying stuff" that is (still) present on #Qortal sites. 🤔🤯😅

I can't really think of any, so I guess that there are none. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The absence of any annoying site on #Qortal (based on your comments) would likely encourage people (knowledgeable in computers) to join the Qortal network and explore Qortal sites! 🤔😎😏

Indeed, I agree, though the present iteration of Qortal websites don't have any dynamic content, so in terms of websites, they'd probably be considered pretty boring and plain. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Do you mean that every change in any page on #Qortal sites must be performed manually by its owner? 🤔🤯 I presume that dynamic site support in #Qortal is under development or at least being actively planned. 😎😏

Any site updates must be made by the owner/creator, and it's basically just copying a newer version over the previous version. Well, Qortal is very much about privacy and not running dangerous code, which makes most flashy website implementations undesirable. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I wonder if there are talks on #Qortal about an opt-in feature where users can choose to see dynamic sites at the expense of (slightly) lower security !INDEED. 🤔🤯🤓

Well, that's a mute point at the moment, because there is no present infrastructure on Qortal yet to support dynamic websites. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Either #Qortal or Hive makes your previous comment still accurate !INDEED. 🤔🤓

Right now, including JavaScript on posts and comments here (or maybe including Hive transfer memos) on Hive would cause one or more bots to review the content for "possible malicious code". 🤯🤯🤯

Considering the various Hive websites, I agree, though they are still more dynamic and multifaceted than the present iteration of websites on Qortal, though I imagine that this will change at some point. It's just not where the main development is at the moment.

Yep, likely true. You've got to be careful with how Javascript is used. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

When you said "Hive websites", it took me several moments to understand that what you meant was websites (particularly frontends) which are (heavily) based on the Hive blockchain !INDEED. 🤔🤯

People who share their own JavaScript code on Hive posts and comments (whether such codes are about Hive apps or not) would get a notice that their code is being reviewed whenever the publish such, unless they are already whitelisted by every reviewer (which can be more than one). 🤯🤓

'Maybe' and 'definitely' are, as I'm sure you are aware, mutually incompatible, and as such, that part of your sentence is contradictory. Yes, it could likely assist him quite a lot. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

It's just my #SavvyCorrect forgetting to remove the "definitely" right after I added the words "maybe" and "when he manages to build one", probably because it was focused (again) on the parentheses. 🤔🤯😆
