Hello! I'm back with a version of splinterlands in our space context. I really like making this type of illustrations, on this occasion I took the Enchanted Pixie as a reference. I couldn't decide how I wanted to do it, so I looked in the illustrators' bible to get inspiration (Pinterest) and I saw a photo of a girl on a bicycle. There the ideas began to flow to me about how I wanted to project it and the final result was this Pixie eating ice cream and being captured in a photo, it is left in the imagination of who she could be with... I hope you like it!

Hola! He vuelto con una versión de splinterlands en nuestro contexto espacial. Me gusta mucho hacer este tipo de ilustraciones, en esta ocasión tomé como referencia a la Enchanted Pixie. No me decidía cómo la quería hacer, así que busqué la biblia de los ilustradores para conseguir inspiración (Pinterest) y vi una foto de una chica en bicicleta. Allí me comenzó a fluir las ideas de cómo quería proyectarla y el resultado final fue ésta Pixie comiendo helado y siendo capturada en una foto, ya queda en la imaginación de con quién pudiese estar... Espero les guste!

It was a bit complicated because I had never tried to draw a bicycle, and the pose also needed to show the back because I didn't want to make the wings stick out (as seen in the original character), but I wanted it to be part of the outfit, In fact, I was between making it with a sweater and the wings as a print or the bag, in the end I decided on the bag. On the other hand, I think that what I struggled with the most besides the bicycle was making the legs not look strange, I think that was what I spent the most time on when outlining.

Fue un poco complicado porque nunca me había puesto a dibujar una bicicleta, y la pose también necesitaba que se viese la espalda porque no quería hacerle las alas sobresaliendo (como se ve en el personaje original), sino que quería que formara parte del outfit, de hecho estaba entre hacerla con un suéter y las alas como un estampado o el bolsito, al final me decidí por el bolso. Por otra parte, creo que lo que más lucha me dio además de la bicicleta fue lograr que las piernas no se vieran raras, creo que fue en lo que pasé mas tiempo al momento del delineado.

The colors, of course, for her I used the same ones as the original character, what I was looking for was that the background colors would not overshadow her or leave her in the background. As at the end of the outline I decided to do it with ice cream, it seemed perfect to imagine that she was in the Ice Pixie store, so it gave me that contrast of cold and warm colors. Apart from that, I gave pink touches that would guide the eye to her. To finish, I had to place warm yellow, orange and pink tints to give it that atmosphere of a dream of love, perfect for this month when the day of love and friendship is approaching 😍

Los colores por supuesto que para ella utilicé los mismos que tiene el personaje original, lo que buscaba era que los colores del fondo no la opacaran ni la dejaran en segundo plano. Como al final del delineado me decidí por hacerla con un helado me pareció perfecto imaginar que estaba en la tienda de la Ice Pixie, así que me dio ese contraste de colores fríos y cálidos. Aparte de ello, le di toques rosas que guiaran la vista a ella. Para finalizar, tuve que colocar tintes cálidos de amarillo, naranja y rosa para darle esa atmósfera de sueño de amor, perfecto para este mes que ya se acerca el día del amor y la amistad 😍
