Hahahaha I start this post laughing because this illustration wouldn't have turned out so pretty even if I want to, it seems that I work better under pressure and the thing is, I have a bit of a bad habit that sometimes I make the drawing without first seeing the contest publication😇, that's what It happened to me this time because I had already done this week's but when I was about to publish a few hours ago I realized that they had a special topic! and they almost never do themed contests and I couldn't afford to upload the one I already had ready (Icould but I didn't want to) so I made a new one and it turned out much better than the other one that had nothing to do with the SPS DAO 😂. Hahahaha comienzo este post riendo porque ni queriendo me hubiese quedado tan bonita esta ilustración, parece que trabajo mejor bajo presión y es que, tengo un poco de mala costumbre de que a veces realizo el dibujo sin ver previamente la publicación del concurso, fue lo que me pasó en esta ocasión porque ya había hecho el de esta semana pero cuando estaba a punto de publicar hace algunas horas atrás me di cuenta que tenían un tema especial! y casi nunca hacen concursos con temática y ya no podía permitirme (si podía pero no quería) de subir la que ya tenía lista así que hice una nueva y quedo mucho mejor que la otra que no tenía nada que ver con el SPS DAO 😂. Espero les guste!

Since the theme had to do with the SPS DAO and the image that came out as a reference was the crystal, well, I went for that part, at first I was going to design a logo but nothing occurred to me, so I went for the creation of a character based on crystal. I imagined her to be very angelic and in fact, the first sketch was going to have fairy wings but in the end I didn't really like the idea and then she came out, I loved it 😍. The pose gives her that touch of innocence with the idea that she has control of the crystals, that she is part of them, but that is also capable of sharing that treasure with others.

Como la temática tenía que ver con el SPS DAO y la imagen que salía de referencia era el cristal pues, me fui por esa parte, al principio iba a diseñar un logo pero no se me ocurió nada, así que me fui por la creación de un personaje basado en el cristal. Me la imaginaba muy angelical y de hecho, el primer boceto iba a tener alas de hada pero al final no me terminó de agradar la idea y salió ella, me encantó 😍. La pose le da ese toque de inocencia con la idea de que tiene el control de los cristales, que forma parte de ellos, pero que es capaz de compartir con los demás ese tesoro.

The colors I used were those of the crystal, but I wanted it to be like pastel colors and everything was just as I had imagined, the color ended up giving it that angelic touch that I was looking for to attract attention. On the other hand, one of the ideas that flowed while I was creating the character was the dress. At first I wanted it to be a transparent dress that showed the figure and had the colors of the crystals, but I decided to make it suitable for all audiences hahaha, I still think it turned out very nice.

Los colores que utilicé fueron los del cristal, pero quería que fuese como colores pasteles y todo quedó tal cual había imaginado, el color le terminó de dar ese toque angelical que buscaba para atraer las miradas. Por otra parte de entre las ideas que fueron fluyendo mientras constuía el personaje era el vestido, quería al principio que fuese un vestido como transparente que se le viera la figura y tuviese los colores de los cristales peeero, decidí hacerlo apto para todo público hahaha, igual pienso que le quedó muy lindo.
