Testing the waters with the 3 mana summoners - Rebellion

I usually played the wild format and stayed away from the modern format. My rating was reset to 100 and I did not bother to play because the untamed summoners were too powerful for me and I never could bring myself to defeat it with my less powerful teams. You might wonder then that I wrote about playing in the wild where the untamed giants also are present. There are wider choices there and winning was not a problem provided I knew how to overcome the bots which after battling the scholars in modern, I feel are tamer opponents.

Anyway, after some Mavs including Mike inspired me to try out modern, I ventured out and started battling. I was able to reach Silver 1 and thank heavens, I was not pushed back into the bronze league after the season reset. It is tough to win the modern games because it is ruled by people who know how to win.

The rebellion release was just in time for me and I decided to invest in cards that could be keepers for a long time. Among those were the three mana summoners. I do have a lot of chaos cards and with the 3 mana summoners, winning could be easier and my decision proved right. As it was, the gold summoners proved cheaper than the regular ones but they did fall back in price. I am hoping to level it up a bit more so that I can hopefully climb up slowly.

Splinterlands is a game that requires a lot of investment and there is no doubt about it but it has also given us players a lot in return. So, never think that it is not profitable. I have only one plot of land and so, I am just waiting to see if I can do anything with it in the future like renting it out or something otherwise, I may even try my hand at farming perhaps. I have no intention of selling it though.

Have you tried the 3 mana summoners?
Among these, I am particularly fond of Prundah

She gives me the freedom to choose both water and life and thus have more chance of winning. People still prefer Kelya as she gives speed and armor but when they realize the power of these 3 mana summoners, it will slowly change the way the game is played. Many players are still testing the waters of the Rebellion and trying out the combinations.

The weapon instruction is the latest craze and the non-ability monsters are now in demand. Have you tried those yet?

The dual ability summoners are also great but I am waiting for the price to fall a bit before trying to buy. Rebellion is a powerful edition and I am expecting the first summoner to be airdropped to be powerful. As for the stats, it is up to the winner and the team to decide. I am not sure if I can afford to stake unopened packs in the wagons but if crypto booms, then there is no stopping back, is there?
