Splinter Beginnings ✨

After a lot of hive discussions with @arc7icwolf I have finally done it.

Splinterlands is a game that I've been seeing and interested with since my entry on hive yet I've not actually had the mind to get on it.
As one may see from the image above, it says Welcome Back Neophyte_763813.
I have already tried getting on splinterlands before, yet after looking at the tutorial on how to play, then seeing the price for the summoners spell book which was $10 then.

A sum which my little hive account back then couldn't manage.

I was greatly discouraged.

Now, a year later I've visited the site back and I've hit the same roadblock.

Although unlike before, this is a sum I could get.

Granted I get my now normal level of curation this coming 😂

My love for and understanding of the game has now tripled after taking part in some practice matches.

Although I haven't won anyone yet I'm getting close to winning...
I can feel it😂😂

Without the spell books, seems like these practice matches are the most action I'll get out of the game for now.
I'll simply use them to gain whatever experience I can so I could be ready to battle once I get my spell book and first set of cards.

I follow and have been followed by quite a lot of splinterland players and I've gotten some random resources from give aways so I'm not just a random broke chap in the game😂
I do wonder how I'll be later on though.
Would I be addicted and stake everything on it like the characters in @blanchy's stories or would I be an old wistful whale who wishes the young ones would let go of the bots and play normally like @azircon.
Regardless, this is the beginning of an incredibly fun, possibly toxic hive crypto game relationship 😂
