We started with the creation of the sketch, as usual we divided it in three stages, shape, sketch and lineart.
I thought about leaving one of his arms down but the crystal would look much better if it interacts with the character, so we changed at the last minute and that was the result.
as a third step we did the lineart with black color and a 50% hardness brush.

Iniciamos con la creación del boceto, como es de costumbre nos dividimos en tres etapas, forma, boceto y lineart.
Pensé en dejar uno de sus brazos abajo pero el cristal se vería mucho mejor si interactúa con el personaje. asi que cambiamos a ultima hora y ese fue el resultado.
como tercer paso hicimos el lineart con color negro y un pincel de dureza 50%

We apply the base color, this drawing has several layers of different colors, so applying all the base color takes some time.

Aplicamos el color base, este dibujo tiene varias capas de diferentes colores, por lo que aplicar todo el color base lleva algo de tiempo.

Once all the base color or at least most of the base color has been applied, it is time to apply the shadows and highlights.
For this we will take into account that there are several sources of light, one of them is the glass that goes in your hand.
On the skin it always takes me much more time than the rest of the layers, but I liked the result very much, it is worth all the time invested.

Una vez aplicado todo el color base o al menos gran parte del color base, es momento de aplicar las sombras y luces.
para eso tendremos en cuenta que hay varias fuentes de luz una de ellas el cristal que va en su mano.
Sobre la piel siempre me lleva mucho mas tiempo que el resto de capas, pero el resultado me gusto muchísimo vale la pena todo el tiempo invertido.

Each layer requires time to give details between the highlights and shadows.

Cada capa requiere su tiempo para dar detalles entre las luces y sombras.

My favorite part was one of the ones that took me the longest to skin.
We created the base of the glitter where the sps crystal will go, this one I wanted to leave last to experiment with different layer effects.
When we finished all the details of the character we continued with the background, as I mentioned before, I thought of something related to shady themes but open to everyone's interpretation.

Mi parte favorita fue una de las que mas tiempo me tomo su piel.
Creamos la base del brillo donde irá el cristal de sps , este quería dejarlo de último para experimentar con diferentes efectos de capa.
al terminar todos los detalles del personaje seguimos con el fondo, como les habia mencionado, pensé en algo relacionado con temas sombrios pero abiertos a la interpretación de cada quien.

Finally, we added the sps crystal, I tried different effects like multiply but none of them really convinced me so I did it in a layer without effects.
On the background I added another 2 layers to give the depth effect.
As a final step in the corel photopaint program I made a small adjustment of the colors of the whole image in general.

Para finalizar, agregamos el cristal de sps, fui probando diferentes efectos como el de multiplicar pero realmente ninguno me termino de convencer así que lo hice en una capa sin efectos.
Sobre el fondo agregue otras 2 capas para dar el efecto de profundidad.
Como paso final en el programa corel photopaint hice un pequeño ajuste de los colores de toda la imagen en general.
