Reference Card

Greetings my dear readers. For this week's contest I wanted to draw a card that I'm using a lot lately, Nerissa Tridawn I usually combine it with ALRIC STORMBRINGER summoner managing to raise her magic attack to 4, this makes her a low life Card Eraser.
About the drawing I want to say that I'm trying to improve my anime style and use more appropriate color tones, I think I've had improvement with that, also this was a good opportunity to practice the female anatomy and musculature, nerissa is a muscular waifu. without more to add let's start!

Saludos mis apreciados lectores. Para esta semana del concurso quise dibujar una carta que estoy usando mucho últimamente, Nerissa Tridawn suelo combinarla con el invocador ALRIC STORMBRINGER logrando subir su ataque mágico a 4, esto la convierte en un Borrador de cartas con poca vida.
Sobre el dibujo quiero decir que estoy tratando de mejorar mi estilo anime y usar tonos de color más adecuados, creo que he tenido mejoría con eso, también esta era una buena oportunidad para practicar la anatomía y musculatura femenina, nerissa es una waifu musculosa. sin más que agregar empecemos!

Process // Proceso

You can see many changes from the original idea, a friend of mine used to tell me "never be afraid to sketch a thousand times until you are satisfied".

Se pueden apreciar muchos cambios desde la idea original, un amigo me decía "nunca tengas miedo de hacer el boceto mil veces hasta estar conforme"

We are refining the sketch by correcting certain things such as the spear.

Vamos refinando el boceto corrigiendo ciertas cosas como la lanza.

One of the most noticeable changes is the pose of the arm, it didn't make much sense to leave it on the hip, now that I think about it I think a more bulky hair looked better....

Uno de los cambios más notorios es la pose del brazo, no tenía mucho sentido dejarla sobre la cadera, ahora que lo pienso creo que un cabello más abultado quedaba mejor...

Once the sketch is ready in an extra layer we make the lineart, use a line with a hardness of 60%. The process has no great mystery so take a picture when we finish it.

Una vez listo el boceto en una capa extra hacemos el lineart, use una línea con dureza 60%. el proceso no tiene gran misterio por lo que tome foto al terminarlo.

To work in a more organized way I decided to create all the layers with base color first before working on the shadows and details.

Para trabajar de forma más organizada decidí crear todas las capas con color base primero antes de trabajar en las sombras y detalles.

I don't usually use this technique, but I think it gives a very nice result, so I'm happy I tried it. First I apply the shadow color in the areas of maximum darkness and then I blend until I get the desired result, after that I just need to give a few small details where needed.

No suelo usar esta técnica, pero creo que da un resultado muy bonito, así que estoy feliz de haberla intentado. Primero aplico el color de sombra en las zonas de máxima oscuridad y luego voy difuminando hasta conseguir el resultado deseado, luego de eso solo queda dar unos pequeños detalles donde haga falta

The water on skin effect is something I already showed in past works, basically is to add a new layer and a darker skin tone, the next step would be to play with the opacity of the layer until you get the desired result. The glows are achieved in a different layer.

El efecto de agua sobre piel es algo que ya mostré en trabajos pasados, básicamente es agregar una nueva capa y un tono de piel más oscuro, el siguiente paso sería jugar con la opacidad de la capa hasta conseguir el resultado deseado. Los brillos se consiguen en una capa diferente

For the background of the drawing I was inspired by a drawing I did some time ago, it is on my blog, a predominantly blue tone as a base.

Para el fondo del dibujo me inspiré en un dibujo que hice hace tiempo, está en mi blog, un tono dominantemente azul como base

I think these shades have good harmony

Creo que estos tonos tienen buena armonía

I always add little details, I don't know if anyone will notice them, but I put them there

Siempre agrego pequeños detalles, no se si alguien los notara pero alli los pongo
