Gold League (Wild) Leaderboard

Hello everyone!

I've been battling since September 2021 and this is my journey or updated blog of playing Splinterlands. Don't even remember much about our last post, but let's just move on and see what's changed. The image below is our current ranking in Gold League (Wild). Not sure if I'll be able to maintain 13th place, but there's only a day left this season. We might get lucky and be rewarded Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) at the end of season. Deciding to stay on the Gold League (Wild) Leaderboard, but Advance to Diamond League in Modern.

I joined a guild called Absalom this year in April, 2022. The guild was created in March and we have 22 members now. Waiting to see if we will get our 3rd consecutive win in 1st place for the Tier 3 Brawl. Being rewarded Merits (Tokens) allows us to buy and open Gladius Packs. They contain Bloodlust cards that can help us win our Frays in battle.

The value of our cards continue to lower because of people wanting to sell or dump their cards into the market. Hoping the value of cards will rise again in the future when cards become harder to obtain. We're still a long way to go from completing our Gold League collection. The temporary solution for now is to use the rental market and play with other people's cards.

We're trying to keep our funds stable and balance out our finances. This is not financial advice, but there is the ability to earn. The problem most people have is spending more than what we're gaining. However, we can't expect to gain anything without investing. There were other games we could be playing right now, but we chose Splinterlands. I believe in the game and continue to have fun also. Not having much luck lately though when it comes to rewards.

Just had my birthday this month and received some funds to spoil myself. There's a new project called Genesis League that's also run by Splinterlands. We bought some GLX tokens and started staking them. This will go on for about a year or less. Excited to see what happens because we are just at the beginning stages. Really wish this pays off.
