I recently participated in a tournament and the experience was very interesting. Proving to be a great option to focus on, in addition to ranked battles and clan wars, tournaments can be a great opportunity to test your skills, learn from your mistakes and also win many prizes, which can vary, such as DEC , SPS, packs or even second tier tokens.

Best of all, in this tournament sponsored by @team-philippines, in partnership with @thgaming, @tokenpimp and @lolztoken, I managed to place number 10, which for me, who kind of doesn't have that much experience in tournaments, it was something super positive, with my prize pool being 625 THgaming tokens:

Ok, congratulations aside, what I really want to show is a battle in which I managed to premeditate what my opponent would do, but it wasn't just any opponent, it was simply an opponent with 1 and a half million power, that is, quite powerful!

All my respect to my opponent in this duel, which was incredible and only one detail ensured my victory: the skill DISPEL, which received a huge improvement, starting to remove the effects of BLOODLUST and with that, it gave everyone an extra chance to neutralize this very powerful ability.

The battle rules were the ones below, as we can see, we would not have legendary, the units that are usually the slowest, in this case they would be the fastest (Reverse Speed) and finally, the new rule that allows you to choose a card gladiator into battle.

So, if we have gladiator cards, the slowest attack first and the earth element enabled, we already know what could appear on the battlefield. Yes, always her, the feared and powerful QUORA TOWERSHEAD, with her high attributes and her insane skills.

I didn't even understand why I thought about it, maybe it's luck, that is, the experience gained in battles, I just know that I imagined it, that my opponent would accomplish something by selecting her, so a countermeasure was necessary!

Who could spoil all my opponent's plans? The rare and neutral card VENARI SPELLSMITH, which certainly gained an increase in its use from the moment the skill DISPEL was improved as I said.

Thus, the battle started as shown in the image below. My opponent came with the powerful summoner IMMORTALIS and there was QUORA TOWERSHEAD, as he had premeditated, using the strategy of using a unit with the MARTYR skill in the position prior to hers, to grant on her kill, +1 to all her attributes.

I used this same strategy, but in this case my MARTYR was in the first position, without attacking, she in second, VENARI SPELLSMITH in third to avoid attacks from units with **SNEAK ** (yes, I thought about that too) and I believe that because URAEUS has one life point less, OPPORTUNITY wouldn't be a problem either, except if some random attack or maybe BLAST hit VENARI SPELLSMITH somehow.

At this key point of the first round, QUORA TOWERSHEAD killed my unit that was in the first position, which I didn't want, but even so, it activated the MARTYR of the my QUORA, so far, was chasing the result and nothing was defined yet.

In continuity, another kill in my favor, finishing the opponent with his magic-type attack, unfortunately in the sequence, the melee attack failed, even because he was with speed at 5 points, which by the inverse speed rule, would give more chances of making a mistake, in addition to having the negative effect of BLIND, which further increases the chance of making a mistake.

My URAEUS was defeated, my QUORA performed another kill and my opponent's received bonuses due to the MARTYR activated on it, so the battle was on balanced to a certain extent, although I still didn't quite realize it, I swore I had lost, but because of the reverse speed rule, in fact, my VENARI SPELLSMITH would attack first in the next round, as the end of this, ended the attack of the QUORAs.

Here came the great Greek gift for my opponent, when his QUORA took the first position VENARI SPELLSMITH was the first to attack and removed all his bonuses acquired during the battle, this was surreal and simply broke the match, as there would be no more opportunities to suffer a defeat.

In the end, the victory was conquered with a lot of commitment and a good strategy that worked super well. Not even the high speed that in this case would be a problem due to the battle rule greatly affected my QUORA, as we can see below, quite a battle, where a calculated detail made all the difference.

So, I'll stop here, it was an incredible experience to participate in this tournament and it certainly comes out better than I entered, with the experiences I gained on the battlefield, I hope to be able to use them to win more victories in the next ones that I will participate.

And the DISPEL skill has become something we should think about, maybe it's a good idea to try to fit whoever has it into the team, even more so, for example, in Brawls, where we know that the battles can be carried out with at least one GLADIUS card and can be a good option to break any card that has become powerful during combat.

Recentemente participei de um torneio e a experiência foi bem interessante. Mostrando ser uma ótima opção para focar, além das batalhas na ranqueadas e as guerras de clãs, os torneios podem ser uma ótima oportunidade de testar suas habilidades, aprender com os seus erros e ainda de quebra ganhar muitos prêmios, que podem variar, como DEC, SPS, packs ou até mesmo tokens de segunda camada.

O melhor de tudo, foi que neste torneio patrocinado pela @team-philippines, em parceria com a @thgaming, @tokenpimp e @lolztoken, consegui ficar na posição de número 10, o que para mim, que meio que não tenho tanta experiência em torneios, foi algo super positivo, sendo a minha premiação de 625 tokens THgaming:

Ok, felicitações a parte, o que quero realmente mostrar é uma batalha em que consegui premeditar o que o meu oponente iria fazer, mas, não era qualquer oponente, simplesmente era um adversário com 1 milhão e meio de poder, ou seja, bastante poderoso!

Todo o meu respeito ao meu adversário neste duelo, que foi incrível e apenas um detalhe garantiu a minha vitória: a habilidade DISPEL, que recebeu uma grande melhoria, ao começar a remover os efeitos da BLOODLUST e com isso, deu uma chance a mais para todos de neutralizar essa habilidade tão poderosa.

As regras de batalha, eram as que seguem abaixo, como podemos observar, não teríamos lendárias, as unidades que costumam ser as mais lentas, neste caso seriam as mais rápidas (Reverse Speed) e por fim, a nova regra que permite escolher uma carta gladiadora para a batalha.

Então, se temos cartas gladiadoras, os mais lentos atacam primeiro e o elemento terra habilitados, já sabemos o que poderia aparecer no campo de batalha. Sim, sempre ela, a temida e poderosa QUORA TOWERSHEAD, com seus atributos elevados e suas habilidades insanas.

Nem entendi direito, o porquê de pensar nisso, talvez seja sorte, ou seja, a experiência adquirida nas batalhas, só sei que imaginei isso, que meu adversário iria realizar algo selecionando ela, então uma contra medida era necessária!

Quem poderia estragar todos os planos do meu adversário? A carta rara e neutra VENARI SPELLSMITH, que com certeza ganhou um aumento em sua utilização a partir do momento em que a habilidade DISPEL foi melhorada como havia dito.

Sendo assim, a batalha iniciou conforme a imagem abaixo. Meu adversário veio com o poderoso invocador IMMORTALIS e ali estava a QUORA TOWERSHEAD, como havia premeditado, utilizando a estratégia de usar uma unidade com a habilidade MARTYR na posição anterior a dela, para conceder em seu abate, +1 para todos os seus atributos.

Utilizei desta mesma estratégia, mas no caso meu MARTYR ficou na primeira posição, sem atacar, ela em segundo, VENARI SPELLSMITH em terceiro para evitar os ataques de unidades com SNEAK (sim, pensei nisso também) e acredito que por conta de URAEUS ter um ponto de vida a menos, OPPORTUNITY não seria um problema também, exceto se algum ataque aleatório ou talvez BLAST atingisse VENARI SPELLSMITH de alguma forma.

Neste ponto-chave da primeira rodada, a QUORA TOWERSHEAD realizou o abate da minha unidade que estava na primeira posição, tudo o que eu não queria, mas mesmo assim, ativou o MARTYR da minha QUORA, até o momento, estava correndo atrás do resultado e nada estava definido ainda.

Na continuidade, mais um abate a meu favor finalizando o adversário com o seu ataque do tipo mágico, infelizmente na sequência, o ataque corpo a corpo falhou, até por estar com a velocidade em 5 pontos, o que pela regra de velocidade inversa, daria mais chances de errar, além de estar com o efeito negativo do BLIND, que aumenta mais ainda a chance de errar.

Meu URAEUS foi derrotado, minha QUORA realizou mais um abate e a do meu adversário recebeu os bônus por conta do MARTYR ativado nela, sendo assim, a batalha estava equilibrada até certo ponto, apesar de que ainda não havia percebido bem, jurei que havia perdido, mas por conta da regra de velocidade reversa, na verdade, meu VENARI SPELLSMITH iria atacar primeiro na próxima rodada, já que o fim desta, acabou com o ataque das QUORAs.

Aqui, veio o grande presente grego para o meu adversário, quando a sua QUORA assumiu a primeira posição VENARI SPELLSMITH foi o primeiro a atacar e removeu todos os seus bônus adquiridos durante a batalha, isso foi surreal e simplesmente quebrou a partida, pois assim, não haveria mais oportunidades para sofrer uma derrota.

Ao fim, a vitória foi conquistada com muito empenho e uma boa estratégia que deu super certo. Nem mesmo a velocidade alta que neste caso seria um problema por conta da regra de batalha afetou muito a minha QUORA, como podemos ver abaixo, uma batalha e tanto, onde um detalhe calculado fez toda a diferença.

Então, fico por aqui, foi uma experiência incrível participar deste torneio e com certeza sai melhor do que entrei, com as experiências que obtive no campo de batalha, espero poder utilizá-las para conquistar mais vitórias nos próximos que irei participar.

E a habilidade DISPEL se tornou algo em que devemos pensar, talvez seja uma boa ideia tentar encaixar quem possui ela na equipe, ainda mais, por exemplo, em Brawls, onde sabemos que as batalhas podem ser realizadas com pelo menos uma carta GLADIUS e pode ser uma boa opção para quebrar qualquer carta que se tornou poderosa durante o combate.
