Splinterlands Art Contest | Week 200 | River Nymph | [ESP/ENG]
Hola amigos de Hive, el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo dibujo para el concurso semanal de Splinterlands.
La terminé el día de ayer pero decidí esperar hasta hoy par a publicar y señalar que este maravilloso concurso llegó a su ducentésima edición. Escogí esta vez la carta River Nymph.
Se dice que las ninfas de río permanecen ocultas en su habitat natural, pero siempre están al tanto de lo que ocurre alrededor para prestarle ayuda a quién lo necesite.
Desde que vi la carta se me ocurrió la idea de dibujarla directamente desde el agua, apareciendo sobre la superficie de esta. También sería directamente una practica de agua pues nunca la habia dibujado antes.
Me divertí mucho haciendo este dibujo a pesar de que me tomó un poco más de tiempo de lo esperado, pero me gustó el resultado final y espero que a ustedes también :)

Hello friends of Hive, today I bring you all a new drawing for the weekly Splinterlands contest.
I finished it yesterday but I decided to wait until today to publish it and point out that this wonderful contest reached its ducentieth edition. I chose this time the River Nymph card.
It's said that river nymphs stay hidden in their natural habitat, but they are always aware of what is going on around them to help whoever needs it.
Since I saw the card, I came up with the idea of drawing it directly from the water, appearing on the surface of the water. It would also be directly a water practice because I had never drawn it before.
I had a lot of fun doing this drawing even though it took me a little bit longer than I expected, but I liked the final result and I hope you do too :)

Base Colors + Shading
For shading I took the base color I applied and took it towards violet tones, although in the case of the hair I used a bit of navy blue. I illuminated with white and a bit of light blue.

I colored the lineart layer with different colors extracted from the drawing to soften the illustration.
Background
Utilicé para el fondo la herramienta gradiente de photoshop con dos colores extraidos de la carta.
Luego apliqué el filtro de curvas para darle un poco más de movimiento.
Con el pincel en color blanco dibujé ovalos imperfectos y con el borrador le quité un poco de grosor a las líneas hasta que me gustara el resultado, esto para emular las olas.
Luego tome esta misma capa de lineas blancas, la pinté de morado y le bajé un poco de opacidad para que fuera la sombra.
I used for the background the gradient tool of photoshop with two colors extracted from the chart.
Then I applied the curves filter to give it a little more movement.
With the white brush I drew imperfect ovals and with the eraser I removed a little thickness to the lines until I liked the result, this to emulate the waves.
Then I took this same layer of white lines, painted it in purple and lowered a little opacity to make it the shadow.
