Hola amigos de Hive y de Splinterlands. El día de hoy les traigo un nuevo fanart en tradicional de la carta Feral Spirit para el concurso semanal de arte de esta semana.

Este personaje me dio algo de vibras a el gato de Cheshire, y además, es un gato, por este motivo me decidí a dibujarlo.

A continuación les mostraré el paso a paso de este estrafalario personaje.

Hello friends of Hive and Splinterlands. Today I bring you a new fanart in traditional of the Feral Spirit card for this week's weekly art contest.

This character gave me some Cheshire Cat vibes, and besides, he's a cat, so I decided to draw him.

Below I will show you the step by step of this quirky character.

Empecé descomponiendo geometricamente la forma del personaje en circulos, generado por círculos y curvas. Trabajandolo desde el lado izquierdo al derecho, empecé a afincar los detalles del gato, como el pelaje, extremidades, los ojos, la expresión de su cara y su cuerpo desvaneciendose.

I started by geometrically decomposing the shape of the character in circles, generated by circles and curves. Working from the left to the right side, I started to refine the details of the cat, such as the fur, limbs, eyes, the expression of his face and his fading body.

Para resaltar los detalles del dibujo antes de colorearlo, le apliqué una capa a lapiz 2B.
To highlight the details of the drawing before coloring, I applied a 2B pencil layer.

Luego de repasar todo el alrededor del dibujo con un marcador negro punta fina, coloreé todo el fondo con pintura al frío color negro para posteriormente poder aplicar detalles con color blanco y que resaltaran.

After going all around the drawing with a black fine tip marker, I colored the whole background with black cold paint to later apply details with white color and highlight them.

Comencé aplicando como base color rosa/fucsia, y luego acentuando espacios con un tono violeta algo claro. Me mantuve mezclando colores en la misma paleta y agregando detalles en azul marino para las sombras. Coloreé los ojos de color amarillo.

I started by applying pink/fuchsia as a base color, and then accentuating spaces with a slightly lighter violet shade. I kept mixing colors in the same palette and adding navy blue details for the shadows. I colored the eyes yellow.

Con color lila empecé a hacer más detalles en el cuerpo del personae, más ondas y formas para darle sensación de desvanecimiento, y con color blanco, hice lo mismo hasta obtener un resultado que me convenciera.

With lilac color I started to make more details in the body of the personae, more waves and shapes to give it a fading sensation, and with white color, I did the same until I got a result that convinced me.

Y así es como terminó luciendo finalmente. Fue una ilustración divertida de realizar, espero que les haya gustado.
