CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: EQUAL OPPORTUNITY

Description: All units gain the opportunity ability which allows them to attack the unit with the lowest health on the enemy team.

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description	Info
BACK TO BASICS	Monsters lose all abilities.	Back row monsters are safe from enemy's Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity attacks. The ruleset places importance on Magic and Ranged attacks as melee attacks loose their ability to hit outside of the first position. Select monsters with high speed and choose a summoner that increases damage or defense against Magic or Ranged attacks. Lining up monsters in ascending order of their health is the way to go.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY	All Monsters have the Opportunity ability.	Speed and HP are the trick here: higher speed will let you target the enemy's low HP monster first, opening the way for your slower monsters to deal damage to higher HP enemy monsters. Keep lower HP monsters in front. Monsters who have two attack types should always be preferred.Keep lower HP monsters in front. Monsters who have two attack types should always be preferred.

Lineup

It was my first new tournament game. Low mana and back to the basic game.

Card	Strategy
	Lux Vega - My default choice in most of the games. As most of the time, her stats are ideal for this game. Especially in back to the basic games she is very useful.
	Cruel Sethropod - One of my favorite 3 mana monster it has decent stats for that low mana.
	Tide Biter - Another great 3 mana monster, it has some useful abilities, but still a good choice for this game.
	Pelacor Bandit - One the best 3 mana monsters in this game. The speed with flying and with decent stats. I put it in almost every low and middle-mana water team even if she can not fly :)
	Uraeus - I think it is the best epic natural card, can go in almost every team in every position. Those are good stats for only 3 mana too.
	Diemonshark - One of my favorite water tank, maybe I had a better winning chance if I put it into the front.
	Chaos Agent - Good low mana tank or backline tank, but in this case caused the Opportunity ruleset I used it as a tank and hoped it can survive or dodge a lot of attacks.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, but only with luck :) I could the exactly the same team as my enemy.

It was a hard and very filled-up tournament with almost 500 users. I didn't have a chance to go to the second round :(

Which cards are good/bad for the EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ruleset? Why or why not?

• Good melee monsters with bloodlust are ideal for this game
• On the other hand low health monsters are bad for this game.
