CHALLENGE RULES

RULESET: BROKEN ARROWS

Description: Units with ranged attacks cannot be used.

Info:

• Units with 2 types of attack (which include ranged) cannot be used.
• Consider utilizing units with Thorns or Magic Reflect, as your opponent will have to use either melee or magic units.

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description	Info
BROKEN ARROWS	Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.	A high HP first monster with Void ability will deal with both melee and magic. Give your tank a backup with a tank heal support. Using Thorns or Magic Reflect is also very useful in this rule set. Defend against either Magic or Melee attacks by using the right summoner and then using monsters' abilities to deal with the other attack type.
SILENCED SUMMONERS	Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.	Use a summoner with no abilities to preserve mana.
BORN AGAIN	All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.	All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once.

Lineup

It was a high mana, silenced summoner game.

Card	Strategy
	Quix the Devious - My King of the Silenced summoner games, because he is my lowest mana high-level dragon summoner, in this games the key if it is possible to use dragon monsters too.
	Baakjira - My favorite tank monster of the water monsters. Very good health with heal and void and good support abilities.
	Agor Longtail - The biggest and the best monster for middle in this game. Good second tank monster.
	Djinn Oshannus - The all-time favorite legendary reward card with very good speed and good magic damage. I use it very often as a second tank / or third as in this game. Phase + speed makes it a very strong monster.
	Doctor Blight - The doctor is a camouflage monster, with a magic attack. It is good for these games too.
	Deeplurker - It has huge damage with poison, an ideal choice for 6 mana.
	Chaos Dragon - My favorite big mana chaos dragon monster. One of the best fits for these rulesets with the magic blast damage.

Did your strategy work? What will you try d/ó/ifferently next time?

Yes. I had a 66% chance to win, not bad. Maybe could be better in the future, but I only had little time to investigate it and not find a better team in a short time.

Battle Results

1.6+ SPS for the win, used to be better, but still a decent result.

Which cards are good/bad for the BROKEN ARROWS ruleset? Why or why not?

• Obviously, every monster with a ranged attack is ignored
• On the other side magic most of the time can key :)
