SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! CURSED WINDEKU - Regular Foil

This post is an entry to the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! CURSED WINDEKU

Cursed Windeku are nightmarish creatures that live in the deepest and darkest woods. They hunt at night, stalking their prey before attacking with their claws, while their thorn-like horns and natural healing ability provide an excellent defense,. They exude a pungent pheromone that reduces the reaction time of their victims, often allowing the Windeku to begin devouring them before they are dead. While these lifeless creatures may appear animalistic, they are highly intelligent. They have heeded the call put forth by the Lord of Darkness. Their thirst for blood is now focused on the Chaos Legion.

Overview

Cursed Windeku is a mid-mana (6) good mana cost/value card with good abilities against melee damages. One of my favorite Death Chaos Legion card.

Battle RulesetsDescriptionInfo
COUNTERSPELLAll Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.-
CLOSE RANGERanged attacks may be used in the first position in battles. You can use high HP or high speed Ranged monsters at position 2 (or even at position 1 if it has Heal). Choose summoners that give a bonus to Ranged attack or to speed and then choose high damage Ranged attack monsters. Beware of the possibility that your opponent might pick Lir Deepswimmer as summoner or monsters with Return Fire. High HP and Heal is the way to go in this ruleset.

Lineup

It was a low mana anti-magic, ranged support game.

CardStrategy
Quix the Devious - My only available max level dragon summoner, but it is a good fit to this rulesets against the ranged monsters.
Corpse Fiend - Filler and reward booster monster.
Cursed Windeku - Monster of the week. With good mana cost, it could lead my team. With anti-magic ruleset, it was the ideal choice in this game.
Naga Assassin - Cheap and good monster to do some quick damage. I not used in so many games, but it was an ideal opportunity for her.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Unfortunately, I lost this game, but my strategy was good (around 80% win chance). I did not change anything next time, only hope in better luck :)

Do you like regular foil CURSED WINDEKU? Why or why not?

Yes, I like this card very much, cause it has ideal stats, with heal ability and thorns that can cause some trouble to the enemy. For renting out it is not an ideal card.
