SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! PRISMOLOGIST - Regular Foil

This post is an entry to the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! PRISMOLOGIST

Prismologists are experts at illusory and light-based magic using prisms. Armed with their custom built prism, they bring them to the battlefield to manipulate magic around themselves. Light dances around them in a rainbow of colors as they lay waste to a bloody battlefield.

Those who wish to become Prismologists train at the Peace of Light Monastery from dawn until dusk with the goal of joining the order of the Spectrum Prism. Their mastery of light and glass allows them to perform spectacularly stunning and powerful magic.

In order to become a full-fledged Spectrum member and Prismologist, a spellcaster must craft their own Prism to use as a focus for their spells. Each summer solstice, future Prismologists journey from the Shimmer City to the deserts of Draykh Nahka to collect sand and create their own prism.

It is a challenging process involving facing multiple dragons in battle, heating the sand enough to become glass, and making it through the desert alive. Not many manage to complete the task, but those that do are a sight to behold.

Battle RulesetsDescriptionInfo
UNPROTECTEDMonsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.Protect, Piercing, Repair, Rust are useless. Focus on a tank with high HP and Heal.
HOLY PROTECTIONAll Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.Monsters that normally have this ability do not get it twice. The trick to win in this ruleset is to fill all 6 slots of your line up and use monsters with Blast and Double Strike. Use a monster or summoner that has Resurrect to use this ruleset at its maximum potential.

Lineup

It was a high mana Divine Shield game. Magic blast monsters are good starting options.

CardStrategy
Quix the Devious - My only available max level dragon summoner, but it is a good fit to this rulesets.
Void Dragon - Ideal tank minion for this game, good defense against every slow attack and Quix is a good fit for it.
Chaos Dragon - Magic blast monster against Divine Shield seems ideal choice.
Djinn Renova - +1 Health for every minion is a good defense ability in every rulesets.
Prismologist - Monster of the week. Week for Uprotected ruleset, but strong in Holy Protection ruleset. So it was an average choice.
Venari Crystalsmith - Good tank support monster, can keep our tank alive for a long time.
Gargoya Devil - It is now seems a bad choice because low health, I should select a different monster.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

It was an 50-50 percentage game, but this time the lock was not in my side, maybe next time. I didn't find any better lineup (for my cards). So I hope more luck next time.

Do you like regular foil PRISMOLOGIST? Why or why not?

I use it a very few times, high mana ranged monsters are not my favorites, expect Cornealus. Prismalogist has average rent prices and nothing more special.
