River Nymphs inhabit the rivers of the Splinterlands. Shy and reclusive, they usually remain hidden beneath the water's surface. However, they have a strong respect for life, and they have been known to aid those in need. They are also fiercely protective of their homes and will defend it if it is threatened.

Overview

River Nymph is low mana (4) magic monster with very good support abilities.

Nowadays this card has the lowest price ever. You can grab it for a good price.

The second level is renting at around 30% yROA which is an average rent value.

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description	Info
NOXIOUS FUMES	All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.	Higher HP and cleanse are the best choices. However, there may be some cases where you go for a big offensive attack and wipe out your opponent before the poison becomes a factor.
BRIAR PATCH	All Monsters have the Thorns ability	-

Lineup

My main strategy was that I wanted to survive the Noxious Fumes. Nymph is a very good help in this.

Card	Strategy
	Quix the Devious - It is one of the (rented) high-level summoners. The speed advantage helps me to cleanse the Baakjira fastly.
	Baakjira - With high life and heal ability with the support of Nymph my tactic was that Baakjira will survive the whole game and the enemy killed by the poison.
	River Nymph - Monster of the week and a very good fit for this ruleset. In most of the Noxious Fumes games If I play with water, I select her to support my team.
	Ice Pixie - Another magic monster of the game, only 2 mana left so I selected her. Maybe some other minions with bigger health would be a better choice.

Battle - Replay

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, my survivor strategy works very well. Baakjira survived the whole game as I expected. Fatigue killed the enemy. Maybe halfling alchemist would a better choice next time instead of Pixie.

Battle Results

Do you like regular foil RIVER NYMPH? Why or why not?

Yes, I like the River Nymph and I used it in some specific rulesets. Magic damage is always my favorite and this combination with good support abilities always results in a good card.
