Hello everyone! Here's an overview of my performance on my 11th season of playing Splinterlands. The cards I opted to represent this season are two of the cards I have used more often since Chaos Legion dropped and in particular, they have helped me get wins not just in my daily plays but more importantly in the tournaments I joined. The Disintegrator is a favorite in rulesets encouraging an all-melee line up, which for me who do not have a Mylor Crowling nor is fond of renting him, have to rely on this card to get on the defensive. The Forgotten One is very useful in my favorite Noxious fumes ruleset and it gave me a crucial win, but at the same time, my refusal to do a repeat performance and insistence to try to experiment using a different composition ultimately led to the end of my quest there.

As always, I started the season with a very dismal win rate, with my bronze troops being no matched for the level 4 and 5's used by my opponents who have dropped to silver after the season reset. This is the downside of advancing to Gold at the end of a season because I face much tougher opponents in the first couple of days. This was probably my worst start yet but I still managed to come back and get over 50% win rate. I didn't beat my record from last season but it was still nice to get over 50% without relying heavily on renting cards.

I joined a lot more tournaments this season, but I didn't do too well on those from in-game. I finished 12th in @clove71's NYE tournament and 14th in A World Without Water Soundtrack. The bigger story for my tournament journey this season though can't be seen in the in game Events section. It was for the Finals for the ZenSports Chaos Legion Showdown, which is for Silver League and I finished 14th out of the 32 participants who all qualified by placing in the top 8 from a series of 4 tourneys also hosted by Clove in game. As mentioned in the previous Season Report, I finished 4th in the last qualifier which landed me a spot in the Finals. I'm working on another post to get a deep-dive of my performance in this tournament so please watch out for that.

This has been a much better season for me when it comes to the reward cards I received from daily quests and end of season compared to the past few seasons. I've gotten a couple of gold foils, one Pelacor Conjurer and one Venari Crystalsmith from dailies, a Djinn Chwala from EoS, a Lava Launcher from DQ, and two Harklaws, one from DQ and another from EoS, the very first times I got Legendary from both DQ and EoS on this account.

I continue to rent less and less except if I need cards for a tournament and at the last day of the season to get the maximum chests for my rating.

As expected, I've reached over 2000 staked SPS early in the season and this allowed me to receive a couple more vouchers before phase 2 ended and one voucher after which I used to buy packs.

The market and crypto in general are in a slump which started before and still continues even to the current season but overall for me personally, it was still a good season. Huge shoutout to the delegations I received/won from @pladozero, @foreveraverage, @chaoabunga and @oadissin, which helped greatly minimize the power I needed to rent to finish the season in Gold 2, while also being very useful in battles. Specially those Legendary Alpha and Promo from Plado. One of which helped me win this Brawl battle against the fearsome Quora.
