# It Shouldn't Be This Hard!! - Splinter Stats Season 56 Report Card
@sinistry
Since a lot of the stats are unavailable, anyway, this seems like an awesome time to just rant. Let's get to it!

I did about the same as I've been doing..., didn't break out of Champion 3, used legendary summoners far too often, resulting in poor overall performance...
I've also been seriously slacking on showing up to play. I've been getting bare minimum in many cases and even then I'm not doing as well as I have. I'd like to chalk it up to the explosion in competition, but getting into a new routine that promotes productivity has proven challenging.

I won a tournament prize over 400 DEC! It's not anything worth bragging about but 1900 DEC is 3800 SPS airdrop points, and that's 3800 more than I had before so I'm pretty sure MATH says I win! Eat it stat haters! Eat it and choke.

I got all the same bullshit reward cards all the rest of you did. This part sucks this time. I'm not doing it. No one says I have to and anyone who downvotes me because of it is an asshole. Google it. It's under "True as Fuck!", you'll see.

I only pulled slightly over 9400 DEC from rental cards this season which is probably up from last... I don't remember but this season I had virtually everything delegated to alt accounts.

Airdrop | 4486.455 |
Staking Rewards | 956.058 |

This is higher than I thought it would be for a single season, so either I'm miscalculating (very highly probable) or I'm pulling considerably more than I initially thought, and I'm happy to see my staking rewards so high. I haven't been doing the math and it's nice to see my earnings are stacking.
Ok, I kinda promised a rant, but as I stated earlier I'm completely off my fucking nut, it seems, so I'm not even sure this will work out right, but here it goes...
I brutalized my two alt decks to swap out for the 3 legendary summoners I was leasing from my girlfriend. She has a pertty killer silver/gold deck now, and absolutely is not getting into it, lol, but she's loving the idea of tossing everything up on the rental market and drawing a check, so to speak.
This has put me in a dilemma. I don't really have enough leftovers to have a serious alt deck, although it could make it to gold or maybe diamond if I actually played it instead of botting it, but if I'm being honest, I'm getting tired of playing it that much. I'd rather spread my time out to other areas on hive, and find other opportunities so I'm thinking about just selling everything that isn't my primary most choice cards and reinforce it by leveling everything that isn't maxed, but I likely couldn't afford it since most of my junk is rewards and they don't go that far on the market when you're trying to swap for the good stuff.
So, I'm open to advice or just chatter with anyone else having similar issues. I'm sitting on more money than I've ever had in my life and still kinda trapped for the next year, if I want to ensure I don't have to ever go back to work again... so I can't exactly cash out and competition is getting so tough I'm not earning quite like I had hoped I would, especially considering that I'm slacking in addition to it. It's not a concern, financially speaking, but it is very bothersome to take a leap and find yourself mucked down in sludge, partially or your own making. Who could have guessed an adorable little card game could have had such monumental impacts? I've been to two (2) county fairs, and a public goat fucking but I've never seen anything like this...

Rentals! That's the answer to all your problems. Rent out what you don't need and rent a few that you need to be competitive in Champion League (and in Brawls so you can win me a stack of those sweet Merits).
DEC payouts for matches are kind of low right now, so I'm finding it hard to be motivated to grind. I've mostly just been getting my Daily quest done and a couple extra matches and that's it. Especially on my alt accounts.
Yeah I still have them botted and not at all as interested in grinding them as I thought I’d be.
I’ve been enjoying spending time skimming from my assets/winnings to redistribute to other projects.
I’ve dropped a few hundred on dcrops, and it’s not a lot but I’m pretty excited about the the hive dividends just for holding, but I’m “playing” too, in that I’m just trying to buy all legendary, and some epic, stuff now while it’s cheap instead of opening packs, though I did fiend into a few.
because I got a strawberry, but I feel like I’ll do better with a small collection of badass stuff than sorting through a bunch of stuff that earns minimally for the most effort.
If Splinterlands has taught me anything it’s buy it all while it’s cheap. I have cards I fear I’ll never get to level 6, without the whole thing crashing to subzero, and we’ve already discussed the headache with junk cards cluttering everything up. I’m not as interested in dCrops for entertainment, so I think selling everything I got from packs at the end of the season and either reinvesting in more seed or send some over to Splinterlands to start suring up my gimps.
And I still can’t get over the fact a grown ass man (debatable, of course) is sitting here having this conversation with the conviction of a person on a mission to amass wealth.
I’m not entirely convinced I didn’t pop a blood vessel in my brain, and I’m not sitting in a wheelchair drooling while all this eventually dies with me, when someone finally suffocates me with a pillow.
I’m gonna stop now.
I took a quick look at dcrops, but decided to concentrate on Splinterlands. I assume the next natural progression for dcrops will be land. If they announce that, I may take a harder look.
I sincerely hope your not sitting in a wheelchair drooling. Mostly because that would mean I am just a figment of your shattered mind. And that would make me sad.
I dunno man. I feel like you guts get the sweet end of it. It’s all sunshine and rainbows in here. 😁
I suspect dCrops will do another edition or two to fill out the collection before introducing land, but I believe you're right, in that it seems aggressively inevitable... I mean how could the farming game not have land??
That's a hell I don't want to live in.
But I'm not into it that much, I just can't stomach the idea of missing out on another alpha release. I like it but it's a hobby farm (Ha Ha Ha! pun to the face, I don't care! I'm rolling back around to my manic stage.)
Lol. I'd seriously rather burn a few hundred $$ than look be standing on an empty alpha stash while packs are selling for $300 each. Im already mad as hell I forgot to check it out when the presale launched. This place is giving me a whole new set of issues. Lol.
That's a good point. I may grab a few packs after all. Better to not miss another golden opportunity.
All the rentals I’ve looked for so far haven’t been available. I’ve also been trying to adjust to the lack of a schedule and trying to decide what kind of new routine to settle in to. I think I’m going to take your advice. At the end of this season
I’m putting everything I have that isn’t maxed out, or champion level close enough, enlist some new recruits, and get my bastards back to glorious. Thanks for the suggestion!
